Digital Continue announced their procedurally generated game Supermash during today's Indie World Showcase. Described as a "game that makes games", Supermash allows players to combine two classic video game genres together for a new, unique experience. A unique mashup game of your choice is generated every time you play, so no two games will be the same experience even if you combine the same genres.

The co-op action RPG is launching with full cross-play.
During the Indie World Showcase, Phoenix Labs announced that their co-op action RPG Dauntless will be releasing on Nintendo Switch today with cross-platform play.
The Switch release will come with "Stormchasers", a new content update releasing for free on all platforms. Stormchasers will include a new mission type called Escalation where players will fight monsters back-to-back in an experience that features roguelike elements.

This party-brawler whisks together Mario Party and Overcooked.
One of the multiplayer games announced during today's Indie World presentation, Bake N' Switch is a party-brawler that sees players work as a team to complete cooking-based objectives in a variety of environments. It presents a much more frantic and action-based gameplay loop than Overcooked but also features a PVP mode.

A wordless, UI-less action-platformer set in a stained glass world
Gleamlight was first revealed during today's Indie World presentation and features an art style and gameplay reminiscent of Hollow Knight. Its hook is an emotional experience told without words or an on-screen UI.
From D3PUBLISHER, Gleamlight comes to Switch in early 2020.

A unique looking dungeon crawler is on its way to Switch
Dreamscaper is an action RPG that blends brawler and dungeon crawler along with puzzles set in a unique world. Its art style mixes a strange reality and ethereal dreams. After being successfully funded on Kickstarter it will make its console debut on Nintendo Switch in early 2020.

Latest sequel in the popular brawler franchise kicks it up a notch.
Today's Indie World presentation had a brief trailer for Streets of Rage 4 from developer Dotemu that showed off a new character, Adam Hunter, from the original Streets of Rage. It features a cartoon-like aesthetic and music from Yuzo Koshiro, among other notable Japanese composers.
Streets of Rage 4 will launch during the first half of 2020.

Team 17 announced during today's Indie World Showcase a new game in the Escapist franchise. Survivalists drops players along with up to three friends onto a procedurally generated island. Players are tasked with crafting, training monkeys, and fighting for their lives against island natives.
The Survivalists is planned for a release in 2020.

The next chapter in the Golf Story series is about much more than just hitting the links.
Featuring tennis, soccer, volleyball, baseball, and of course golf, the follow up to Golf Story, Sports Story, is coming to Nintendo Switch courtesy of Sidebar Games. It's billed as a golfing adventure with dungeons, mini-games and a more involved story than the original game. Today's Indie World presentation showcased a variety of new environments filled with NPCs and places to tee off.

Because someone has to make Metroid.
In an epic, one last thing, moment during today's Indie World Showcase, Thomas Happ revealed a sequel to his acclaimed Axiom Verge. While we don't know much, Axiom Verge 2 seems to carry forward the Super Metroid inspired gameplay of the original. Axiom Verge 2 will release on Nintendo Switch in fall of 2020.

Nintendo announced today that a new Indie World Showcase will be airing tomorrow, December 10th, at 10am PT / 1pm ET.
The presentation is expected to be approximately 20 minutes long and will show off upcoming indie games for Nintendo Switch. The presentation can be watched on YouTube or on Nintendo's website.

Make a young girl's dream come true, brought to you by the studio behind Evangelion.
A classic PC sim game is making its debut on Switch.
Publisher CFK announced today that PRINCESS MAKER -FAERY TALES COME TRUE- will be releasing on Nintendo Switch this December. This HD remaster of Princess Maker 3 will release on the Japanese eShop on December 19 and on the American and European eShops on December 23rd. The game will feature updated artwork and a rearranged score.

A seven day trial for Switch Online can be picked up from the My Nintendo shop for 100 Platinum (free for logging in, etc) coins. Currently, the offer is good until January 31, and cannot be used for existing NSO members.

The first update since September is almost here!
Nintendo announced today that six new games will be joining the lineup of classic Nintendo and Super Nintendo games available through their online subscription service. The new games will launch on December 12th and will be the first new games added to the service since SNES games launched back in September.

Another Falcom hit crosses the divide.
NIS America is bringing a recent hit RPG franchise to Nintendo platforms for the first time.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will release on Switch in North America and Europe in spring of 2020, along with a limited edition. No Japanese release date has been announced.

Some familiar game elements are being added, including one very special sword.
It had been radio silence for almost six months, but Super Mario Maker 2 is finally getting a sizable content drop. In a video uploaded early this morning by Nintendo UK, it was revealed that Spike, Pokey, Frozen Coins, P Blocks, Dash Blocks, and the Master Sword are all coming to Super Mario Maker 2 on December 5.

There's going to be a whole lot of rhythmic digging next week.
The long-anticipated Just Shapes and Beats "Just Shovels and Knights" update will be available on December 4. In addition to adding four new stages - one for Shovel Knight and each of the playable bosses in the expansions - the Shovel Knight stage will feature a brand new boss.
