Casey is out this week (finally something believable#) so Alex and Perry convene to discuss the dual Nindie/Partner Nintendo Direct showcase. Between a new Castlevania DS collection, a Tetris Digital Eclipse documentary and Pizza Tower, it seems like Switch fans are eating pretty good!

On the what-we’ve-been-playing front, Alex played the new English localization of BAKERU and checked out 3D shadow-based puzzle platformer SCHiM. Big week for games stylized in ALL CAPS! Perry provides us with some updates on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Luigi’s Mansion 3.

"J-Man" "Michael" Jordan Rudek joins us this week for our big I Demand You RE: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds!!! What a beaut of a game (and special guest), huh?

But that's not all, gang -- we start the show off with the games we've been playing (as well as the promise of a new Perry game show in the coming weeks). Jordan's got a cool lil' puzzler in Please Fix the Road, Casey's been playing the uber-popular V Rising on Steam, and Alex put a bit of time into Senua's Saga: Hellblade II on Xbox Series X.

Then, it's time to talk about Zelda!!! We put a half hour into discussing Link's big original 3DS outing, and the last new 2D Zelda game. Can you believe that was more than 10 years ago? Can you believe it came out the same day as Super Mario 3D World? OMG!!!

NWR reviews editor, author, Thirsty Magician, and real-life villain Jordan Rudek joins us this week for our big Undertale I Demand You segment!

Honestly, pretty action-packed show across the board. We start things out with some new business including Contra: Operation Galuga, Astro Duel 2, Dungeon Drafters, and Unicorn Overlord. Then, we pass things over to Perry who has an interview with a couple of the developers at Orube Game Studio, makers of the cool Celeste-style Metroidvania Super Mombo Quest. Thanks for joining us!

Next, we chat Undertale...FINALLY! We talk about its wild legacy, why Alex and Jordan think it's so good, why Perry and Casey need to actually beat it someday, and much more. Then, we close out the show looking at last year's predictions and seeing who won. Jordan will be back next month for 2024 predictions (lol) and the reveal of our next I Demand You!!!
