EA's next game for Switch will be one of their most beloved racing games.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered was revealed today for a November 13 launch on Switch. The remastered version of the 2010 simulation racer that appeared in a modified form on the Wii was developed by the original development studio, Criterion Games.

Minecraft Dungeons Adding Cross-Platform Play In November Switch

Minecon has featured a window for a long-awaited addition to one of the year's big releases.

Minecraft Dungeons will add cross-play in a patch in November. The patch will open the multiplayer pool for the May 26 release to include players on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft's xCloud streaming platform in addition to the Switch pool.

Minecraft Steve Joins Smash Ultimate October 13: New Mii Costumes And Amiibo Announced Switch

Some of it coming quickly, others not so much.

Steve will be rocking the Smash block in about a week and a half.

The eighth DLC fighter (7th from a Fighter's Pass) will drop on October 13, as revealed in today's Smash presentation hosted by Masahiro Sakurai. The stage and music were also revealed, with the music focused on songs from the Minecraft Dungeons and Earth spinoffs.

Minecraft Steve Revealed As Eighth Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Character Switch

This will build some new bridges, houses, and endless spawn structures.

Smash DLC #8 is from one of the most successful games of all time.

Steve, the player character from Minecraft, has been revealed as the next Smash Bros. Ultimate fighter. The brief video showed the basics of his moveset, as well as costumes for Alex, a Zombie, and the Enderman.

More information will be provided on Saturday (October 3) at 10:30 am ET prior to Minecraft Live.

Eighth Smash Bros Ultimate DLC Fighter To Be Revealed Tomorrow Switch

This one won't be a soliloquy.

The second fighter of Super Smash Bros Ultimate's Fighter Pass 2 will be announced tomorrow.

Nintendo have announced the reveal of the next Smash DLC will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET, 7 a.m. PT, and 1600 UTC. Unlike prior character reveals, the video will only be a few minutes long and will be followed by a "brief" message from Smash director Masahiro Sakurai.

The free work-from-home project developed at Nintendo was slated to be pulled from the eShop sometime tomorrow, but will remain on the eShop "until further notice" according to a Nintendo of America Twitter post.

Animal Crossing will allow for the Halloween celebrations that may not be possible otherwise soon.

The free update for the fall will feature a Halloween party from 5 p.m. to midnight local time on the 31st of October, as well as the option to buy candy and grow pumpkins for the month's DIY projects. Jack, the Halloween "czar", will also appear.

The last known Sega Ages title is now available on Switch.

The M2-enhanced version of Herzog Zwei, TechnoSoft's legendary 1990 game that was one of the first real-time strategy titles, is now available worldwide. Pricing as with other Sega Ages title is US$7.99/C$8.99/€6.99/£5.99.

A practice mode and tutorial, as well as online play, have been added to the game for the Ages release.

Gaming's largest privately held publisher is off the market.

ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda, has entered into an agreement to be bought by Microsoft for US$7.5bn. This would give Microsoft ownership of properties such as Doom, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Wolfenstein.
