It's all the fun of that racing game without any of the nasty publisher business.

The developers of racing game Redout have made some dramatic changes of both genre and publisher for their next title.

Redout: Space Assault - a prequel to the 2019 racing game - will be available on January 22. A prequel to the original Redout game, Space Assault is instead a high speed space shooter.

The second of the spoiled two was an Indie World shadowdrop... in Japan.

Dicey Dungeons did make it out today in North America as promised, but it was slightly delayed.

The Terry Cavanagh-designed dungeon creator is now out on the eShop for US$14.99 or equivalent. A 10% discount will be available until the 28th of December as well.

The reason for the later release was due to being included in the Japanese version of the Indie World showcase, which went up early Wednesday morning local time.

It's going to be a busy few months.

Among Us, the social interaction game that originally launched in 2018 on PC and mobile but broke into the cultural zeitgeist this year, will be available on Switch shortly.

In Among Us, players have to complete tasks on board a spaceship while determining who on board is an imposter out to crash the ship. How it will handle voice chat has not been announced.

The final Switch Online update of 2020 will also be the biggest one of the year.

Who is the old man who invites you to the "Anime Is Happening" bunker?

It's not quite a shadowdrop, but we already have a new announcement for tomorrow.

Anime streaming service Funimation have announced they will be bringing their app to Switch tomorrow in the US and Canada with other countries to follow. As with other premium streaming services, the app will be free but will require a subscription for full functionality.

Nintendo have confirmed an Indie World presentation will air tomorrow at noon Eastern / 9 a.m. Pacific time / 1700 UTC. It will run for approximately 15 minutes, according to the notification.

Previous Indie World shows aired in March and August.

You know Square, I said at the start of the year that Final Fantasy II and III would end up on Switch, but I was referring to the Super Famicom IV and VI. I most certainly did *not* mean you should continue to put up with Kawazu having pictures of that late 80s party that involved cocaine and presumably several goats. Anyway, the Final Fantasy Legend trilogy (aka three Saga games with the serial numbers pasted over) comes to Switch this week.

A demo for the March 26 release will be available in January, as with prior Monster Hunter releases on Nintendo platforms. The demo will be "available for a limited time only".

Boss Team Games will publish Evil Dead: The Game on Switch next year. Developed by Saber Interactive and set in the zombie-focused franchise, it is a 4v1 game where players can be among Ash's gang of survivors, or the Kandarian Demon.

One is a selection of old hits, the other is Capcom going Rebirth on us.

Capcom have a busy February coming for Switch in the download space.

A former EA Original is coming to Switch next year with new features and a new publisher.

Sea of Solitude, developed by Jo-Mei Games and originally released on PlayStation 4 / Xbox One / PC in 2019, will come to Switch in a "Director's Cut" on March 4. The features - exclusive to the Switch version - will include new voicework, a retouched script, gyro aiming, and a photo mode.
