Update For Witcher 3 Adds PC Cross Save And New Graphics Options Switch

Toss a coin to the absolute madmen.

The Witcher 3 has added a beefy new set of features in an update now available worldwide.

Full patch notes are available on the official Witcher 3 website, though the biggest deal is the ability to import save data from the PC versions of the game. The Switch will accept Steam saves as well as saves from the GOG service (owned by CDPR).

New Switch Lite Coral Color Debuting On April 3 Switch

Next is the green one, after this one effectively prints money.

Nintendo's fiscal year will kick off with a new color for the Switch Lite.

A "Coral" color will join gray, yellow, and turquoise in the Lite lineup on April 3 in North America. Japan will get the new system on March 20 to coincide with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, while no date has been announced for Europe / Australia as of yet.

Red Wings: Aces of the Sky has released a new trailer for the World War I-themed shooter, with specific emphasis on the using of the Joy-Cons for flight.

Spooky 3D Platformer Pumpkin Jack Announced Switch

A solo developer is going to get MediEvil on us.

The fourth quarter will see a new 3D platformer with a very dark atmosphere.

Headup have announced an agreement to publish Pumpkin Jack on Switch, with a targeted release window of October-December of 2020. A one-man project, Pumpkin Jack is a run and gun 3D platformer that takes inspiration from Sony's MediEvil and Jak and Daxter franchises.

Another free-to-play shooter has jumped onto the Switch, starting in the land down under.

Warface, the Crytek developed free to play first-person shooter, is now listed on the Australian eShop. It is a 7.2GB download and has English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.

It wasn't official before, but now two people can get bloody.

Capcom is making sure Devil May Cry 3's Switch version is truly a Special edition.

Devil May Cry series producer (and former Nintendo World Report staffer) Matt Walker made the announcement on Twitter today that co-op play will be available for the Bloody Palace mode, letting two players battle through with Dante and Vergil. Co-op was a hidden option in prior DMC3 versions, but is now wide open upon completing the first mission.

The developers of 20XX have announced a sequel for release next year.

30XX is scheduled to launch in 2021 for Switch, and will have a playable version at PAX East. The two playable characters Nina and Ace will have different abilities, with Nina able to mix and match powers to create 64 different weapons and Ace able to chain techniques.

If the eShop is a tad slow right now, this is probably why.

The Pokémon Home client for Switch is now available for download.

Although an update is required for Pokémon Bank to use the 3DS transfer functionality, the listing for the mobile apps have gone live in North America.

Players who successfully log into Home will receive a special gift Pikachu, while logging in on the mobile version will allow for a free Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle.

The former Nindie Showcase game will bring its Hotline Miami-esque style to close the month.

Bloodroots is coming to Switch on February 28 according to developer Paper Cult.

First announced for Nintendo's platform just under a year ago, Bloodroots stars Mr. Wolf who seeks vengeance against the villains who left him for dead. The hook is that everything (and we mean everything) can be Mr. Wolf's weapon, be it sword, barrel, or carrot. The flow of levels is evocative of Hotline Miami, especially with the quick die-retry mechanic.

Outer Worlds Delayed On Switch, Getting Physical Cartridge Switch

Concerns regarding the coronavirus have led Private Division to push the Virtuos-developed Switch release to beyond March.

According to Outer Worlds publisher Private Division, the Switch version of The Outer Worlds has been delayed. In a tweet earlier today they stated that the coronavirus is "impacting the Virtuos team working on the port". Due to this the game is being delayed to presumably give the team some time off before resuming work. It has not been revealed if the virus has spread to the Virtuos team or if this is merely a precaution.
