Thoughts from the man who made Mario.

Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto recently discussed his thoughts on the F-Zero franchise, saying "I thought people had grown weary of it." The statement came in an interview with French wesbite gamekult.com. He added, to fans of the series   "Thank you very much and try to wait by playing Nintendo Land's F-Zero mini-game."

Wii U Internet Browser Scores High on HTML Compatibility Test WiiU

The Wii U's browser has the greatest HTML support of any game system.

The Wii U internet browser has the most comprehensive compatibility with HTML5 of any dedicated game console to date, according to benchmark-testing website HTML5test.com.

The testing website, which ranks browsers out of a possible 500 compatibility points plus an additional 15 points for specific video and audio-related features, graded the Wii U browser with 323 + 8.

The Denpa are coming! The Denpa are coming!

The sequel to The Denpa Men: They Came by Wave will come to North America's eShop, as confirmed by the official Denpa Men Twitter account. 

Known as Denpa Ningen no RPG 2, it was released in Japan on September 26. The sequel plays host to a number of additions, including a world map, StreetPass functionality, a fishing mini-game, and the ability to transfer your full party from the first game.

First North American Wii U Advertisement Video Airs Today WiiU

Nintendo is getting ready for the month of Wii U.

The first Wii U advertisement video is set to be shown later today, November 1. The video will be available on Nintendo of America's Facebook page.

An image, which can be viewed on this page, was teased along with the announcement yesterday. The picture appears to reveal nine different living room settings in which it can be assumed either an individual or a family will be playing the Wii U during the ad.

No Black Ops 2 for you, 3DS owners!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will not be coming to any other Nintendo platforms other than Wii U. Previous years saw releases of Call of Duty on the Wii and DS, including last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

This news was confirmed by Coffee With Games when the writer contacted Activision and received the response: "In terms of Nintendo products, Black Ops II will just be on Wii U."

The denizens of boss battles have set their sights on Nintendo 3DS.

Sin & Punishment developer Treasure has announced that it is working on an action game exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

In an interview with gamesTM magazine, the studio's CEO, Masato Maegawa, said:

"We are making a new game on Nintendo 3DS now. Not multiplatform, but exclusive to 3DS."

Bravely Default Seeing Digital Release Tomorrow in Japan 3DS

Square Enix's new IP for the 3DS is about to brave the digital frontier.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop as a downloadable title on November 1 in Japan. The digital version will be cheaper than the retail copy, priced at 5,400 yen compared to 6,090 yen for the boxed version.

Bravely Default was released in Japan on October 11. There is still no word whether or not the game will see a release in Western markets.

A 3DS remake of Dragon Quest VII: Eden no Senshitachi (Warriors of Eden) will be released in Japan on February 7, 2013, a newly opened Square Enix webpage confirmed.

Sam Fisher may have sneaked by on this one.

A Splinter Cell Blacklist display was found in a GameStop, according to a NeoGAF user. The forum user found this display in his local GameStop in Dublin, Ireland.

Even though we've seen no evidence to indicate Blacklist will be coming to the Wii U, this is not the first hint that this game might come to the Wii U. A video from HipHopGamer also noted that Splinter Cell would be receiving a Wii U release.

Nintendo of America has revealed the details of their Wii U digital download incentive program, titled the Deluxe Digital Promotion. The program, which runs through the end of 2014, will offer approximately ten percent of the purchase price back to the customer in store credit which can be used on either the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo Wii U eShop.
