Sega and BioWare's Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood takes Sonic and his friends on an epic tale on the DS.
Sega has announced that Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood is now available for DS in North America. Made by BioWare, the acclaimed creators of Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire, Sonic Chronicles features a "robust RPG experience" and a storyline including many of the series' characters both new and old.

Travelers at the hotel chains will soon be able to enjoy room service and the Wii at the same time.
Nintendo has teamed up with Marriott and Renaissance hotels to bring the Wii to hotel patrons. Using a Wii hotel console, guests will be able to play top-sellers like Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Fit, and Mario Kart Wii from the comfort of their hotel room without the need to insert discs.

Gamers will be able to buy TV Show King Party for Wii this November, as well as Guitar Rock Tour and Real Soccer 2009 for Nintendo DS.
Yesterday Gameloft announced three new games for Nintendo platforms. Guitar Rock Tour and Real Soccer 2009 will be appearing on Nintendo DS, while TV Show King Party is heading for the Wii.

Hudson Entertainment announced today that they will be releasing a new entry in their Kororinpa puzzle-adventure series, Marble Saga: Kororinpa. A racer that aims to blend music with driving in a unique way.
Today, YUKE'S Company of America revealed that it will publish an innovative new driving game, BPM Racing for WiiWare. The game aims to combine high speed racing with adrenaline pumping electronic music to create an enjoyable, visceral experience.

Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility is now available for Wii and continues the ten-year anniversary celebration of the popular farm-simulation series.
Yesterday, Natsume announced that the first Wii iteration of their popular Harvest Moon series, subtitled Tree of Tranquility, is now available in stores. The game, celebrating the series' ten-year anniversary, takes off after the Mother Tree disappears and the main character's island town loses its touch with nature. Ghouls 'N Ghosts is coming to VC, again.
Nintendo, through an update of their Japanese Virtual Console release list, has unveiled that gamers will soon be able to play SuperGrafx games on the Nintendo Wii. The SuperGrafx, which was released exclusively in Japan back in 1989, is a minimally enhanced version of NEC’s PC Engine (TurboGrafx 16 for the rest of the world).

The Live Arcade title is being remade for a February 2009 release.
Pinnacle Software and Strawdog Studios announced last week that they are developing Geon for Wii, an action title that first saw life on Xbox Live Arcade. In Geon players must outscore opponents by racing across geometric landscapes collecting pellets to place in your opponents' goals.

Nintendo is currently being sued by Hillcrest Labs regarding patents that have been granted as recently as August. Surprisingly, this case is going forward.

Nintendo is offering a 20,000 copy limited print of the DS Lite at Amazon now.
Late last week, Nintendo made available 20,000 copies of their white DS Lite with a pink ribbon emblazoned to the back of the top screen. The print is intended as support for breast cancer research with Nintendo contributing $5 per DS, or $100,000 in total to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure charity.

The Nintendo DS could finally be getting the redesign that rumors have centered on for months. Nikkei Net, the online component to Japan's Nikkei newspaper, has reported that Nintendo is set to announce a new hardware revision of their wildly successful DS handheld system. This revision is said to include a built-in camera, music-playback capabilities, and the ability to connect to information terminals.
