Nintendo reacts to Daily Radar's reaction regarding the Pokémon licensing dispute.
You know, sometimes Nintendo can make me very happy and this is one of those days. Of course info like a new 1080 coming down the pipe is all good and other little tidbits you pick up and aren't allowed to post are even better... but then to see something like this press release also puts a smile... This link would work under normal circumstances...
Some of you who also frequent the Nintendorks website will surely have noticed that they're having some problems. Tech-head Jon Miller told me that they're having server troubles, and on top of that, his cable internet at home crapped out for a couple of days. No word on when things should be working again, but I'll let you know at that time.

Would you like to pre-order a Japanese Gameboy Advance? Well, get in here and plunk down some cash!
I know Billy has been looking for GBA info high and low for awhile & luckily thanks to a fine tip, we've finally come across some. It turns out that Buyrite is now accepting pre-orders for Game Boy Advance. The price for a GBA including Mario Advance is $199.99. Buy-rite claims that all pre-orders will be honored and that they will try (but cannot promise) to give you the color of your choice.

Max admits that he is not, afterall, omnipotent. He also now owes all our readers a Coke.

Of course, time and again I am exposed for the phony I am -so it's a good thing I don't boast like that! Early this morning (and I mean like nearly 12 hours ago) I found out that Left Field Studios... Read more...

Mr. Driller 2 for GBA launch. Mr. Driller = Good!
Oh man! The GBA love continues to flow. Namco has announced that they will have Mr. Driller 2 ready for launch on GBA! Yes, I am down with Drillin!
If you have a Dreamcast and like puzzle games you'll want this game. I've played the hell out of the DC version and would highly recommend this title. No word yet if this title will be reaching US shores...but in my opinion this is another great addition to the Japanese GBA launch line up.

For the year 2000... Nintendo had 4x as much revenue as Sony and Sega. Who ever said the N64 was a failure?
PC Data has released it's 2000 sales figures and they show one company WAY ahead of the others. That one company is Nintendo. Despite the fact that the N64 may be failing the Game Boy Color is pulling in tons of dough for The Big N. They finished out the year with $955,169,820. That's almost $1 billion!... Read more...

Could Matsushita's rewritable SD Cards be part of the NGC/GBA connection?
Ed Shih told me he'd post this last night, though I guess he was out partying too long and forgot. You know what that means — he's FIRED! Actually, it means that I have to do it... It also means I will have to send Louie to beat up Ed and take away his medication (firing is too good for that pansy).
