Famitsu Advance has awarded Pikmin a 38 out of 40. The scan of Famitsu Advance.
Famitsu Advance is Famitsu's Nintendo only publication. Does that mean they're biased? Well, typically, they give marginally higher scores to games than the multi-console Famitsu (which has a different panel of reviewers), but not much higher (and sometimes lower). New information suggests that Miyamoto’s communication game may indeed be coming to the West.
Although Animal Forest was shown at E3 and rumors before and since have suggested the title might be coming to North America, no concrete information concerning a release has been made. At SpaceWorld, it was revealed the GameCube version would interact with the GBA version to access new parts of the game and do customization things, such as designing wallpapers.

Matsushita announced today that their DVD Player / GameCube hybrid will be released in Japan in time for the holidays.
Matsushita has just announced the release date and pricing information for its Nintendo GameCube / DVD player Combo, named “Q.” The hybrid system will be hitting Japan on December 14th.

Good news! Advance Wars plot for World Domination is still on track. PGC confirms Nintendo’s latest, greatest GBA game is not cancelled in Europe, nor discontinued in the USA.
Although reports in the UK Nintendo Official Magazine would have you believe that Advance Wars has been cancelled for Europe, it has actually been postponed until 2002. No further information has been released about the game or the reasons surrounding the delay.
The only first party GBA game for release in Europe this year is Wario Land 4, due for mid-November.

Cloudchaser Nintendo says it all:
The british Nintendo Official Magazine has announced that Advance Wars "indefinitely cancelled" due to the events in New York.

Nastume announced the other day that Lufia Gaiden was announced and is scheduled for release for Februrary 2002.
