UPDATE: Nintendo has issued a second press release changing the wording to make it clear that the $24.95 drop of the standard controller is effective IMMEDIATELY. If you like the corded controllers, go get one NOW! Electronics Boutique has already sent out a news blast stating that they are in compliance with the new prices.

A Japanese magazine (email me if you know specifically which one) has posted a two-page spread on Golden Sun 2, the sequel to last year's extremely popular RPG developed exclusively for Game Boy Advance. Splinter Cell heads to the GameCube GC

Tom Clancy and Ubi Soft have teamed up to bring stealth espionage to the GameCube.

In the year of 2003, Ubi Soft will release Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell on the Nintendo GameCube. In Splinter Cell players controls Sam Fisher, a member of the National Security Agency who must infiltrate secret organizations without leaving a trace. The game will be unveiled for the Xbox at E3 and release this year for the Xbox. Ubi Soft will release Splinter Cell on other systems, including the GameCube, in 2003.

Electronic Arts has confirmed to several news outlets that Medal of Honor: Frontline will see release on Nintendo GameCube. Unfortunately, no other details have been divulged about the GC version. The PS2 version will hit shelves in June, so the GameCube version will most likely see release before the end of the year.
