Computer and Video Games ran a follow-up interview to their previous question and answer session with Nintendo about the Virtual Console and uncovered some new information about the system.

The Nintendo 64 marked the first first-party inclusion of rumble technology in console video games. However, Virtual Console does not support rumble and so downloaded N64 games will not be able to use that feature.

Game was never delayed, rather is being released in the "launch window."

After IGN reported that Elebits was delayed until December, we contacted a Konami rep to get the details. He told us that the game has always been planned for the "launch window" and those plans have not changed - terming this as a delay was incorrect, and IGN has since updated their news story.... Nintendo handheld support likely, console support unconfirmed.

Although Take Two has been previously reticent to publish games for Nintendo systems, the following press release seems to indicate that at the very least Nintendo handhelds will be getting Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Console support shouldn't be ruled out quite yet, especially since Fantastic Four was featured on GameCube when it was published by Activision, but nothing is confirmed as of this time.

In a new interview with Game Informer, Perrin Kaplan revealed that component cables will not only be hitting online retail sites, but will actually launch in retail stores along with the Wii on November 19.

When asked if component cables would be available on day one, Kaplan responded by saying "Yes, at retail and online. Best Buy, GameStop, Circuit City, etc… and Nintendo.com."

The second Tamagotchi game for DS will release November 14th.
