Ground-up remake of the PlayStation classic to hit Nintendo console
Namco Bandai revealed through a recent Famitsu article, that they are working on a remake of the original PlayStation version of Klonoa for Wii. Fans of the original may find the levels familiar, but the game's graphical presentation is being overhauled featuring stylistic cel-shaded graphics.

The RPG series is heading for Wii in a new installment that promises gigantic monsters and online cooperative play.
A recent issue of Famitsu, the Japanese gaming magazine shows that the K2 developed RPG, Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga is coming to the Wii. Two installments of Valhalla Knights have already been released on the PSP. The game features character creation, a cooperative Wi-Fi mode, and a great deal of monster killings.

The upcoming holiday season will bring many new games and peripherals from Nintendo. In a recent press release, Nintendo discusses their upcoming releases, hardware, and games due out in 2009.

Marvelous Entertainment USA and XSEED Games recently announced Muramasa: The Demon Blade as a Wii exclusive.

The sequel to the original point-and-click PC adventure game is due for release in Europe on Wii and DS.
Deep Silver recently announced details of their upcoming game Secret Files 2- Puritas Cordis, a sequel to Secret Files Tunguska, for Wii and DS
The original Secret Files followed heroine Nina Kalenkow, a young girl investigating her Russian scientist father's mysterious disappearance. Players controlled Nina and occasionally an alternate character. The story from the first title continues in Secret Files 2.

Augmenting the already revealed Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat and Pikmin, five other titles have been announced.
During Nintendo's presentation in Japan at the start of their Fall Media Summit, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced that a handful of GameCube games would be receiving a Wii update. The re-released games are also now confirmed to have updated controls to work with the Wii Remote (and Nunchuk).

Has the All-Play label actually scared gamers away rather than attract them?
In a recent study, Gamasutra's Matt Matthews compares the NPD sales data of Madden NFL 08 with Madden NFL 09 All-Play.
In 2007, Madden NFL 08 was released on Wii and was met with disappointing launch numbers. However, the number of units sold steadily increased during the following months. In fact, less than twenty five percent of all Madden NFL 08 copies sold in 2007 were during the launch month.

Apparently Nintendo has been hard at work developing brand new hardware for consumers to take advantage of. A recent filing with the OHIM (official European Union agency responsible for registering trademarks and designs) reveals that Nintendo has created a pedometer, likely for use with Wii.

National Geographic Panda, the only panda pet-simulation game on the market, will contain a DVD featuring the hour-long special, Secrets of the Wild Panda.
Namco Bandai Games recently announced that their upcoming DS pet-simulation game, National Geographic Panda, will feature a bonus DVD containing the hour-long special, Secrets of the Wild Panda. The special follows a team of scientists as they observe a mother panda and her newborn baby for an entire year.

Nintendo did not disappoint with the reveal of the Nintendo DSi, a Wii storage solution, a new Punch-Out game, Sin and Punishment 2, and much more.
Nintendo held their autumn press conference in Tokyo, Japan earlier today and revealed a laundry list of new items relating to both the DS and the Wii.

Nintendo's Japanese Media Conference reveals their solution to the oft-mentioned storage issues on the Wii.
Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced during Nintendo's Japanese Media Conference that they have found a solution to the Wii's storage issues and will be rolling out a firmware update to solve it soon.
Players will be able to download Virtual Console and WiiWare games directly to their SD Card. Iwata said that this data would then be easy to transfer to the Wii's own memory afterwards.

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata didn't waste any time at the company's autumn press conference earlier today in Japan by announcing the Nintendo DSi, a new iteration of the Nintendo DS platform. It will bring a lot of new features, all in an attempt to achieve Iwata's stated goal of having "one DS for one family."
