The recent "news" about Nintendo buying Sega is having drastic effects on Sega's stock.
Looks like the Sega/Nintendo news isn't done just yet. Take a look at what Yahoo news has just reported:
TOKYO, Dec 27 (Reuters) - The Tokyo Stock Exchange said on Wednesday it has suspended trading of shares of video game
maker Sega Corp .
Sega shares last traded up by their 100 yen limit or 10.48 percent at 1,054.

What's this?! Nintendo is buying Sega? Well... we'll leave it to you to decide.
According to Reuters, Wednesday's New York Times is reporting that Nintendo has been in discussions for months to purchase rival Sega for reportedly $2 billion.
Regardless of Time's source, a Sega spokesman called the claims "absolutely outrageous." A Nintendo spokesman said, "In this industry there are various kinds of rumors," and laughed.

Is a Sonic game coming to a Game Boy console? Sega sez "N-0" and you know what that spells!
A spokesperson from Sega of Europe today denied all rumors of Sonic the Hedgehog coming to the Game Boy Color. He also said that Sega of Japan and Sega of America are denying it too. This is too bad, it' would've been sweet to play sonic on the GBC. We'll just have to pray that those Sega/Nintendo RPG rumors are true.

One of our nice readers, Adrian gave us a head’s up about some cool Rareware holiday wallpaper. Toy HeadQuarters confirms numerous GBA titles for the year 2001 and hints at Tetris for GameCube.
