The Olsen twins claim Acclaim neglected their games and their royalties.

The two identical starlets are no push-overs! On Celebrity Justice, Mary-Kate and Ashley announced they are suing Acclaim for abandoning their game franchise and skimping out on promised royalties.

According to entertainment litigator Chuck Kenworthy, the twins are suing to protect their image and assert their dominance in the entertainment industry.

In case you missed it too, here's the English trailer for GameCube's first truly major RPG.

This beautiful movie somehow slipped by us last week, but here it is in case you still haven't seen it. The trailer is 45 seconds long and depicts cutscenes and gameplay footage from the English version of Tales of Symphonia. There's no English voicework featured, but the text has been translated. This is definitely one of the most beautiful GameCube titles yet, so it's worth checking out even if you aren't otherwise interested in the game.

As reported on Slashdot.org, Tim Schuerewegen has figured out the code system used in Nintendo's e-Reader cards. By cracking the Reed Solomon error correction he has enabled homebrew game makers to print out their games in e-Reader dot codes. The codes, which much be printed out via a special program, can then be swiped into an e-Reader and played on a Game Boy Advance.

A tribal tattooed GBA SP will be available in Europe from June 18th for around 129 - 139 Euros.

Factor 5 announces it will no longer support the GameCube, turning its attention to next generation consoles and handhelds.

Numerous sources reported today that Factor 5 has officially dropped support for Nintendo’s GameCube. Many have taken this to be another blow to Nintendo’s third party support, right after the recent Silicon Knights announcement. However, this news should not be taken too gravely.

Reports out of Japan state that Nintendo will have thirty titles on display for its new handheld at E3.

Magazine publisher Enterbrain reported earlier today that Nintendo was the top game publisher last year, selling more than 6.5 million games. It's closest competitor was Square, which sold approximately 4 million units.
