If Madden isn't enough to crave your football appetite, then EA has something new for you to try.

For years, many major sports websites have offered Fantasy Football games, wherein people participate in a mock NFL season, picking players and playing in games based off of the stats of those players' real-life counterparts.

Electronic Arts figured that since they've been making football games for more than ten years, why not start another kind of football game? Starting on July 21, EA will be starting its own Fantasy Football program. For as low a $9.99, you can compete for EA Sports swag, games, or even tickets to next season's NFL Pro Bowl.

I read about this yesterday on gameinformeronline. It's ridiculous. EA is charging 99 dollars to make your own private fantasy football league, while other places such as Yahoo sports offer that for free.

A lame idea that can acutually work with the hardcore football fanatics.

The only thing appealing about that is the free stuff you an win.
