Another new weapon hits Splatoon this evening at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT, as the Luna Blaster will become available.
According to the experts at the the Squid Research Lab, the Luna Blaster is a rapid-fire weapon with explosive impact, but is more of a short range weapon. Ink Mines will be the sub-weapon, while the special move is the longer-range Inkzooka.

Nintendo's Kensuke Tanabe ponders the idea of Olimar and Chibi-Robo meeting up.
In Pikmin and Chibi-Robo, Nintendo has two franchises where dimunitive heroes get by in a large world peppered with real-life objects. Maybe the two universes could collide someday?

If you need speed and collisions, there's nobody better than Criterion.
According to Nintendo Life plans were in the works to have a F-Zero vertical slice at the Wii U's reveal, developed by Criterion.
Per an anonymous source, Nintendo of Europe approached Criterion, makers of the Burnout series and 2013's Need for Speed Most Wanted U to prepare a playable teaser of the game for E3 2011. Criterion had to decline due to time, according to former studio head Alex Ward.

StreetPass is coming and more details.
First details of Hyrule Warriors Legends for 3DS have come out from Famitsu, and the game appears to be on track for a early 2016 release.
The article translated by Nintendo Everything reveals that the Wind Waker content will be after the credits of the Legend mode, as a playable epilogue. More new characters than Tetra and King of Red Lions are also planned to be added, and StreetPass will be available in the Adventure Mode.

Developing a Prime's worth of content takes time.
If there is a Metroid Prime for home consoles in development, it will target the next Nintendo console.
Metroid Prime series produced Kensuke Tanabe spoke to Eurogamer at E3, and confirmed that the time to develop the amount of content in a Metroid Prime game would take several years.

A year after Jonny Metts famously called out Reggie Fils-Amie about Axiom Verge, the Metroid homage may be coming to Wii U.
A comment posted on a Destructoid article about games similar to Metroid from Axiom Verge developer Thomas Happ states the game is coming to Wii U next year, and although they want to get the game on 3DS as well, hardware differences may prevent the project from happening.

Now that E3 2015 is in the books, it's time to crown the champion for the NWR E3 2015 prediction contest.
In the end, it was a tight race the whole way. I honestly thought we'd have to go to the tiebreakers after a few 6/6 performances, but Nintendo threw enough curveballs at us that the best anyone did was 5 out of 6 right.
