Believe it, Bandai Namco has two games coming out the same day for some reason.
The last Friday in August is going to be a busy one for Bandai Namco.
Jump Force, the anime crossover brawler, will launch for Switch on August 27 (Japan) and 28 (rest of the world). The Switch version will launch for $49.99 and also have all of the "Season 1" DLC characters from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.

The Switch has added another strategy titan to its loaded lineup.
Invisible Inc., Klei Entertainment's 2015 PC strategy hit, is now available on the eShop. Originally dropped in Europe, it launched in North America shortly afterward for US$19.99/€19.99/£17.99/C$25.19.

The NPD Group's monthly sales survey of the United States shows big Switch sales continuing.
All results based on dollar unit sales from May 3 - 30, unless otherwise noted. Also, Nintendo does not provide first party eShop sales to the NPD Group, though third parties do provide this data for their games.

And some of the trademark humor as well.
Nintendo has released a new trailer showing off nearly six minutes of play for the upcoming Paper Mario: The Origami King.
The trailer shows off some of the companions joining Mario on his adventure, including an amnesiac Bob-omb and series staple Kamek. More detail is also given on the combat system, and some of the boss battles including a giant rubber band man and a sentient roll of tape.

A couple of intriguing announcements today.
Day 2 of IGN's Summer of Games has produced a couple of additional Switch announcements.
Merge Games have made their second announcement in the last 24 hours with third person shooter Foreclosure. The cyberpunk themed game will feature a comic-book style narrative when it launches in Q2 of next year.

Top off a busy week with some inhuman capital management.
Jupiter is expanding from puzzle strategy to other types next week.
The Picross S developers announced a strategy game called Working Zombies, which will launch on June 18 for US$19.99 or equivalent. Players will have to use zombies to complete jobs such as being a flight attendant, caring for children, or hairdressing.

Six years and a new studio ago.
After six years of Energon recharge, the Transformers are coming back to Nintendo systems.
Transformers: Battlegrounds, a strategy game based on the long running toy franchise, will release on Switch October 23.
Battlegrounds will be the first Transformers game since 2014's Rise of the Dark Spark for Wii U. This new one will be developed by UK studio Coatsink and published by Outright Games.

You ever want to play NES Pac-Man REALLY FAST?
The Darius Collection won't be the only collection of retro games coming to Switch next week.
Bandai Namco will be releasing the Namcot Collection announced in the Japanese Nintendo Direct Mini this past March as the Namco Museum Archives on June 18. It will come in two parts, as opposed to the individual purchases of the Japanese version, though some games will be Japan-only for now.

The newest game from the creator of Switch eShop hit Slime-San has been revealed.
Fabrazz have announced Demon Turf, a "3D platformer with attitude", at IGN's Summer of Games festival. The as-of-yet unnamed player character looks to conquer the various "turfs" of demons on their way to defeating the Demon King.

The Summer of Games is already paying off.
The first Switch announcement of IGN's E3 replacement show is another Sega throwback.
Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX has been announced for Switch release on the stream. Published by Merge Games, the platformer will feature an option for throwback graphics as well as the standard mix of platforming and Janken (rock-paper-scissors) gameplay. The game's Steam page is currently listing the game for Q1 2021.
