One of the facets of the remake of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the GBA will be a multiplayer option.

With the link cable, players will be able to cooperatively play through dungeons together. According to our sources, there will be 4 different colored Links. To progress through the dungeons, one or two links may need to step on buttons to open doors, or to get the "team" to other parts of the dungeon.

We're still a week out from E3, and all the big news is happening. This is just ODD.

Not to be outdone by Sony, and largely out of necessity, Microsoft has matched Sony's $100 price cut which brings the Xbox to $199.

Despite recent reports to the contrary, Nintendo said back in April that if Sony and Microsoft cut their consoles to $199, they would have to consider cutting the GameCube's price.

400,000 GameCubes Sold in Europe

In the first week of the GameCube's release 400,000 consoles were sold. That, and more statistics inside.

400,000 GameCubes, that is 80% of the launch shipment, were sold throughout Europe during the week of launch. The average tie-in ratio was 2.3 games for each console sold and 23 years is the average age of a GameCube owner.

The next two first party games to be released are Super Smash Bros. Melee on May 24th, and Pikmin on June 14th. 50 games released by summer!
