It took a while, but now adventurous Cube owners can run their own programs through Nintendo's purple little box.
The PS2 is the leading system in the industry, so modders would naturally flock to it and tinker around with the insides. The Xbox is a modder's dream, virtually ready to go for mod chips and other alterations. The GameCube, with those pesky optical discs and lack of standardized connection ports, has basically been shelved by anyone who deems themselves "hardcore" in the modding scene.

An update to Nintendo NCL's online games list reveals some exciting DS RPG games.
Today Nintendo updated its complete Nintendo DS games list, adding thre notable games.
Most significantly, Namco's Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos are headed to Nintendo's new handheld. The Xenosaga saga has a firm foundation overseas on the PlayStation 2, and Baten Kaitos was just released for the GameCube in North America.

Nintendo of America announced Friday that it now owns over half of the Seattle Mariners.

New Yorkers and tourists can talk with Mario during the shopping season, but this may just be the start of his grand travels.
Toys 'R Us and Nintendo know holiday shopping isn't always jolly, so they are doing their part to cheer up their customers. Mario is appearing at the giant Toys 'R Us in Times Square to entertain and interact with shoppers during the busiest time of the year. In fact, the plumber already made his first appearance today!
