Nintendo's ASH was rated E 10+ today by the ESRB. Since acquiring an ESRB rating is a typical step in gaining release for the American market, ASH is probably being localized into the English language.

Agetec will publish this "hardcore" dart game for a June release in the U.S.
With a year between the British and U.S. release of Full Fat's fast-paced dart game, Agetec's Mark Johnson says Touch Darts is the still the most realistic dart game out there. Cabela's Legendary Adventures serves up more Wii Remote big game hunting.
The Cabela hunting franchise will headline a second title for Wii this fall. "The missions are based on encounters with some of the most famous animals ever hunted in the wild," said Activision's Dave Oxford. Like all Cabela hunting titles, the gameplay and gun schematics will aim to match those of real life.

Includes a special "mat controller" for total body gameplay that the whole family can enjoy.
Atari announced yesterday that they planned to bring a continuation of Namco-Bandai's Family Trainer series to the Wii. Similar to the old NES series, Family Trainer will include a mat controller peripheral used to play the game. The Power Pad used on the NES is sure to be an inspiration for the new mat, as Bandai was the developer of the original.

Corner Shop 3 will bring new shops and WiFi compatibility.
Namco-Bandai announced yesterday that they are releasing another entry into the Tamagotchi Connexion: Corner Shop series with Corner Shop 3.
Tamagotchi Connexion: Corner Shop 3 will feature connectivity to WiFi allowing players to exchange journals with friends. More characters and thirteen new shops will be featured as well as a Create Your Own Park mode.

The popular PC and DS title will see a release on Wii with a slew of new features.
Cake Mania: In the Mix! was announced by Majesco and is coming to Nintendo’s Wii platform. The new iteration of the popular series will include the same hectic gameplay focused on time-management, but will also build on the concept by including a branching storyline, new characters, motion-based mini-games, and a co-op mode. Players will now be able to accept phone orders in addition to walk-in customers.

A Nintendo press release shows that Wii sales haven't slowed down one bit and portrays a software chart dominated by games from Nintendo systems.
The Wii and DS won't be stopped. Nintendo's press release regarding the April NPD sales numbers for the United States claims that Nintendo's two systems reigned at the top of the list, and that that six of the top ten games for the month were for Nintendo systems.

New details regarding the forthcoming Castlevania DS game, Order of Ecclesia, have emerged from Konami’s Gamer’s Night show.
Players will take on the mantle of a member of the Order of Ecclesia, a group sworn to Dracula’s defeat. Whether your character is a Belmont, Morris, or Belnades is unknown at this point, but players will traverse twenty distinct environments, from forests to the ocean.

According to series creator Michel Ancel the popular series will continue. However, it is still awaiting Ubisoft approval.

Nintendo of Japan published a website today proclaiming the existence of a new entry into the Pokémon franchise. Though a new release, the game is said to be an expansion of sorts to the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl games released on the DS last year.

The new title, called Skate It, will be compatible with the Balance Board on Wii and use the stylus on DS.
Electronic Arts announced that they are working on a Wii and a DS version of the next game in their popular Skate franchise. Entitled Skate It, the game will have distinct versions developed for the two Nintendo systems. WiiWare size constraints will keep the series off of Nintendo's recently launched service.
The teams at Penny Arcade and Hothead Games have been hard at work on a new episodic adventure series based on Gabe and Tycho from the Penny Arcade comics. Earlier this week, the release date of the first episode was announced as May 21, 2008, where it will simultaneously be available via Xbox Live Arcade and Penny Arcade's Greenhouse service on PC, Mac, and Linux.
