Saffire is preparing to show off its game engine at the GDC...

The Game Developers Conference is this week, (March 8th - 12th) and the people out there want to know if any Dolphin information will be revealed. Well Saffire will be showing off SAGE, a high end game engine used in developing games for Project Dolphin. SAGE will be shown there this Friday, and Planet N2000 will be there! Here's more about SAGE.

This week’s Game Developer Conference 2000 will be the place to be if you want to get a glimpse of the technology that will power future “next-generation” games from PlayStation2 and “Dolphin.” One of those new technologies comes from Utah-based developer Saffire Corporation, which will be on hand to show-off SAGE, short for Saffire Advanced Game Engine. It will be utilized for an upcoming PlayStation2 and "Dolphin" game dubbed Saffire.

According to Saffire, SAGE is a high-end game engine that has been receiving notoriety for such impressive features as target morphing, inverse kinematics and motion blending. Saffire will be using GDC to show developers and media members a brief demo of the architecture on Friday, March 10, at 1:30 pm, in Room M of the San Jose Convention Center. Could this be the first public unveiling of a "Dolphin" game? Stay tuned to find out.
