Kirby fans will soon have some expensive merchandise to save up for.
First 4 Figures has acquired the official license to manufacture statues based on the Kirby series of games. The first statue in the line, Sword Kirby, has been teased and will go up for pre-order this coming Tuesday on the manufacture's website. Low edition numbers will be given out on a first-come first-serve basis.

The Kirby series mainstay is officially joining the battle.
Meta Knight will be a playable combatant in the forthcoming Super Smash Bros. games for Wii U and 3DS.
The longtime Kirby series mainstay’s inclusion was confirmed via today’s official Miiverse post by Smash Bros. Director Masahiro Sakurai. A Battleship Halberd stage reminiscent of Meta Knight’s home stage from his Brawl debut was also revealed.

Tucked firmly in a shell on the left is Mega Slowbro, which has the Shell Armor ability. Mega Audino, the Normal/Fairy-type on the right, has the Healer ability.

Players who purchase Pokémon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire will have a window shortly after launch to receive Shiny Beldum as a gift.
The Shiny Beldum will be holding a Mega Stone, meaning it will be able to transform into a Shiny Mega Metagross once evolved to its third form. Exact dates that players will be able to claim their Shiny Beldum was not mentioned.

We spotted a white colored Wii U GameCube Controller Adapter at a recent Nintendo event.
When we asked Nintendo representatives about this white variant we were told that it is simply a pre-production model and it will not be sold in stores. Regardless, we thought the item was cool enough to share with our readers.

Classy ways to make notes and display your drinks!
The Japanese Club Nintendo has added two new rewards, which can be purchased using the earned points. This is what the service announced a couple of days ago.
There is a Question Block Coaster, which provides a fancy way to display your drinks. The other reward is a Famicom notebook, which offers red lines to scribble on and controllers on top to give it more color. Both of these rewards will set Nintendo players back 150 points!

Characters from the classic film will participate in the Toy Box hopping.
Aladdin and Jasmine from the classic animated movie Aladdin will be joining the Disney Infinity cast. This is what the team behind the title announced last Thursday.
The two characters can only be used in the Toy Box mode, where you can create, build and play whatever your heart desires. There are no plans announced for more dedicated Disney sets in any form as the focus seems currently on Marvel in the future.

A Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon in now being given away to North American Pokémon X and Y players over the game’s Mystery Gift Internet option. Those interested better hurry though, as the promotion will end on August 12.
