The first details, and English trailer, for a Pokémon collaboration we knew was in the works.
Pokkén Tournament, a collaboration between The Pokémon Company and Bandai Namco, was officially announced today. Pokkén Tournament will be a Tekken-style fighting game starring Pokémon characters. The new game will first be released in Japanese arcades in 2015.
While no Western release has been confirmed, The Pokémon Company did release an English trailer hinting that the title may see the light of day outside of Japan.

Plus the mighty Onion Knight returns!
A limited edition bundle of Final Fantasy Explorers for the Nintendo 3DS will be available in Japan through Square Enix’s online store.
Priced at 14,040 yen, the bundle will include the Final Fantasy Explorers for 3DS, a soundtrack titled “Final Fantasy Explorers Suppin Tracks," an art book, a cover featuring Bahamut for a 3DS XL and a faux leather carrying case.

A number of videos appear to confirm last week's major leak.
Several characters new and old might be joining the fight in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS if a leak that started circulating last week is accurate. The newcomers that are a part of the leak are Shulk (from Xenoblade), Bowser Jr., Dark Pit, the Duck Hunt Dog, and — returning from Melee — Dr. Mario.

A European trademark has been filled for Rusty's Real Deal Baseball.
Users on NeoGAF discovered the trademark this past Friday. No other information has been released, but discussion regarding Rusty's Real Deal Baseball arriving in European shores has been ongoing for a while, so it seems that this is a first step towards word on a release.

Looking to try out your design on the GamePad?
The original Disney Infinity is now free to download for the Wii U from the Nintendo eShop.
The download will include the full game, plus multiplayer and the Toy Box design area. However, players will still need a Disney Infinity base and figures to play the game.
The download will help players who previously bought the game for the Wii, but want to experience it on the newer system without having to pay again for the game itself.

Pokémon Art Academy is coming to retail and the eShop in North America on October 24.

Final Fantasy Explorers is slated to launch on 3DS in Japan on December 18.

Mega Man and Xtreme Sports highlight this week in downloads!
Judging by the abstract, you'd think this week's Download was barren. Well, unless you're the biggest Midtown Crazy Race fan of all time, you'd be right. I guess the best we can ascertain is that we're experiencing a big slump in releases, and by this time next month we shall be back in the thick of things. At least, that's all we can hope for, right? At least there's more Mega Man if you're a fan.

Early development artwork for Hyrule Warriors shows a proposed female version of Link.
The revelation comes in the official art book that was included with the Treasure Box version of the game, released only in Japan.
The Japanese text calls this version of the character "Rinkuru" rather than the usual "Rinku," which would equate to Linkle.

The wildly successful Japanese 3DS RPG is making the jump to other regions in 2015.
Yo-Kai Watch, a 3DS RPG from Level-5, is releasing in North America and Europe in 2015 according to Level-5 President Akihiro Hino in a Japanese interview.
He said that they have been looking into launching the series, which also includes a toy line, anime, and manga, in other regions. Level-5 is planning to launch the Yo-Kai Watch series globally in 2015, and are even working with a large toy manufacturer.

Watch Dogs is still set to hit Wii U, but it will be the "only mature game" Ubisoft releases on the system.
Nintendo fans aren't buying Assassin's Creed games according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.
"It’s very simple. What we see is that Nintendo customers don’t buy Assassin’s Creed," Guillemot told Game Informer. "Last year, we sold in very small numbers. What we see is that they are very interested in Just Dance, very interested by other kinds of games."

The Level 5-developed 3DS RPG will let you team up with two other players online.
Both online and local multiplayer are coming to the North American and European versions of Fantasy Life when it hits 3DS later this year.
Players can adventure with two other players locally or online. For online, players will be able to communicate using a text chat system. Multiplayer isn't a separate mode; it is a part of the main game.

Pictures of Disney Infinity figurines for Hiro and Baymax, the two main characters from Disney's Big Hero 6 have been leaked.
