While no demo is playable at Jump Festa, the beta is almost here.
A Q&A event at Jump Festa revealed a few details about the upcoming Dragon Quest X, including when the beta is expected.

Nintendo Australia will fix your save file, if you send it to them.
Recently, it came to light that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword contained a bug that could appear late in the game, which prevented players from continuing to its conclusion.

Europe will get this title sooner than expected.
The European release date of DSiWare title Antipole is now December 29.
According to Nintendo's software lineup the game was originally going to be released on January 5, 2012. The new release date means European gamers get the title one week in advance. The European version adds localization for French, Italian, German, and Spanish in addition to English.

The world can now see what is important to Nintendo Germany on their official YouTube channel.
The States have "Nintendo Week", the UK has "Nintendo TV" and Germany has the "Nintendo Magazin." With the launch of the Nintendo Channel on the Wii, Nintendo of Germany started their biweekly show. Since June, Germans could also enjoy it in 3D on their Nintendo 3DS.

Audio guides no more, the 3DS is the new way to tour the French museum.
The Louvre museum will begin to replace its audio guides with Nintendo 3DS units this upcoming March.
The 5,000 units being donated by Nintendo will serve many functions in the museum. Visitors will be able to determine their location within the museum, choose themed itineraries, and listen to recorded commentaries. Nintendo is developing the content while the Louvre has editorial control.

If you're an Ambassador, go download that stuff now!
The 10 Game Boy Advance titles for those enrolled in the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador program are now available for download in Australia.
We confirmed that the titles now appear under the "Your Downloads" section of the eShop on eligible 3DS systems.
Players in other regions have yet to receive their 10 free GBA games, but it is suspected they'll be coming very soon.

Surprise simultaneous release covers all regions but Japan.
Mighty Switch Force's North American release date has been moved up to December 22, coinciding with the previously announced launch in Europe and Australia. The title will cost $5.99/€6.
Previously, the eShop puzzle-platformer was scheduled for a Q1 2012 release. Developer WayForward announced the surprise update on Facebook and Twitter.

Even faster than the Wii!
Nintendo Australia announced that the Nintendo 3DS system has become the fastest selling platform to reach the 200,000 unit benchmark.
The Nintendo 3DS achieved the number in only 37 weeks. This milestone comparison didn't only include various handheld
systems; the system also beat out everything in the home console market
as well. Previously, the Wii held the record, coming in at 50 weeks for the 200,000 unit mark.

North Americans will have to wait until next year to play WayForward's latest downloadable. UPDATE: or not.
Mighty Switch Force will launch on the European eShop on December 22, WayForward revealed to us at Nintendo's eShop Demo Tour yesterday. Update: WayForward confirmed that the game will also arrive in Australia and North America on December 22.
A North American release date has not been set in stone, but the game should appear in the first quarter of next year.

The latest issue of Japanese magazine Coro Coro Comics teases a new Pokémon game announcement early in 2012.
The magazine promises that they have a big scoop on the latest Pokémon game. They, however, don't mention if it's the newest game in the main series or a spin-off title. The new magazine will be out in Japan on January 14.
