There's a ghost of a chance you'll be playing it by the end of the month.
Ripstone Games has announced the release date for the next Nindies @ Home title to release.
Extreme Exorcism will launch on Wii U on September 23, with a regular price of US$12.99 / €12.99 and a 15% discount for those who downloaded the demo during E3. The unusual Wednesday release is due to the game releasing on all of its target platforms on the same day, including the Xbox One.

North American and European gamers can now play on Android and iOS
Pokémon Shuffle Mobile, the port of the free-to-start 3DS game, is now available on Android and iOS platforms. The title first appeared on Japanese stores on August 24th and North American and European stores on September 1st. The game is almost identical to the 3DS version with minor tweaks to the game’s currency.

After a trip to the 1800s, it looks like a return to "California" is in order.
The next issue of Famitsu has announced a new game in the Ace Attorney series for 2016, and Capcom USA has confirmed it will be localized.
The Famitsu teaser has announced Gyakuten Saiban 6 will be playable at Tokyo Game Show this month, and teases an upcoming six page interview. The game will be handled by the same producer and director who helmed Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Dual Destinies in 2013.

So maybe we'll get something special on Prime Day next year.
Amazon has added Nintendo to their digital game offerings, with Wii U, 3DS and even Wii download codes available.
The listing is composed of first party titles for now, with a focus on retail and Virtual Console games. After completing the purchase, buyers will be able to log into a special page with their Nintendo Network ID and redeem the code, which will start downloading to the system.

Builders Week challenges successful!
Nintendo of America will be making a rare Monday release on Virtual Console this week with Vs Excitebike.
Originally teased last Monday, the release was based on the completion of "Builders Week" challenges which included tipping in Mario vs Donkey Kong Tipping Stars, making levels in Stretchmo and completing levels in Pushmo World.

Both North America and PAL regions popularity losers come back in a massive way.
Results from the weekend's Splatfest action in Splatoon:
Singing 274, Dancing 226 46-54, 57-43 At the Kelp Dome, the European Splatfest hit a high note for the scoring post 2.0 update. Although Dancing won the popularity poll by eight, Singing winning the battles by 14 points accounted for the winning margin. The previous high was 273-227 in Japan's Grasshopper v Ant event.

A new paradigm in soundtrack sampling awaits.
Nintendo's Xenoblade Chronicles X panel at PAX Prime has revealed North America's limited edition for the game.
The special package will include the game with special disc art, a matted art card, a 100+ page art book and a 10 track soundtrack sampler that comes on a custom designed USB drive. The edition has a MSRP of $89.99 (US$).

UPDATE: It would seem the Amiibo is legitimate.
UPDATE 12:20pm ET August 27: The Brighton branch of UK retailer GAME posted and deleted shortly thereafter a tweet announcing Shovel Knight Amiibo preorders would open tomorrow. The Amiibo was said to work "in future Yacht Club Games products for Nintendo consoles" and was part of a Shovel Knight series, but the art was not final. Original story follows.

Two hardcore shooters look to be headed to North America shortly
The ESRB has updated ratings for import N64 game Sin and Punishment as well as its Wii sequel, Sin and Punishment Star Successor.
The listing indicates that the two games will release on Virtual Console soon. The original game will be eligible for upgrade pricing for those who purchased the import version on Wii, while Star Successor's online leaderboards will not be available due to their use of the now-closed Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
