Nintendo presents the GameCube and the GBA in Europe as they did at Spaceworld.
Spaceworld Re-gurge? Well, just being in the presence of Shiggy, even if it is a sort of repeat performance, is an incredible experience as it is. Lots and lots of GC are promised during Nintendo's pre-ECTS conference.
During the pre-ECTS Nintendo conference, Jim Merrick, technical director for NOA, confirmed that several second- and third-party GameCube games are already well under way. Merrick did not announce specific games or time of release, but admitted that there are over 20 games in development for the console.... Read more...

Straight from ECTS, the Nintendo Project has a correspondent (heck, Brian, do you have an international army of media assasins?) who reports that compared to the ten Gameboy Advance titles shown at Space World, there are only four at ECTS. Which four? Mario Kart Advance, Konami's All Star Racing (known as Waiwai Racing in Japan), Kuru Kuru Kuruin and Pinobee: Quest of Heart (known as The Adventures of Pinobee in Japan).

Konami's long running & legendary soccer series is coming to the GameCube! Wahoo!
Great news folks! In a C&VG interview with Konami Computer Entertainment Osaka, a version of International Superstar Soccer has been confirmed for Gamecube.
"We haven’t received any development tool yet, but [there are plans to bring ISS to Gamecube] because this is one of the strongest titles for Konami KCEO," said Mr Katsuya Nagae, Executive Vice President and General Manager of KCEO. "So we will definitely have ISS for Gamecube."

Mr. Okada talks with Core Magazine about the GBA's capabilities... and more.
Satoru Okada, a general manager at Nintendo, talked with Core Magazine about everything Game Boy Advance, from the handheld's inception to its possible lifespan. Mr. Okada clearly pointed out that plans for the Game Boy Advance existed long before the Game Boy Color was released, in fact he said that the late Gumpei Yokoi envisioned a handheld like the GBA years ago, but both technical and financial restrictions hampered its development.

The fourth Spyro the Dragon title is hitting GBA, and should be available sometime in 2002. No word yet if Spyro will be coming to a GameCube near you. Spyro will also be ported to PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC.
