The Mummy's spinoff is getting its own games, and they're headed to Nintendo's systems.
Here's a quick background check on the Scorpion King: first appeared in 2001's The Mummy Returns. Played by The Rock of WWF fame. People's Elbow, etc. Now he's getting his own movie, with Vince McMahon as executive producer, and Chuck Russell directing. The screenplay was written by Stephen Sommers (director of both Mummy films), Will Osborne, and David Hayter (yes, the guy who voices Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid games).
Universal Interactive is releasing two games based on the upcoming movie. The Scorpion King: Sword of Osiris for GBA apparently takes place after the movie, and will be an action/adventure (read: 2D platformer). Look for it this summer from developer WayForward Technologies.
The Scorpion King for GameCube is a combat-heavy adventure title from developer Point of View, Inc. This console title apparently follows the movie's storyline, and it will debut in Q3 2002. Note that the game has not been announced for any other systems, at least for now.
