Finally, an unofficial confirmation of what we knew all along.

According to IGN Cube, "Sources close to Rare finally confirm that the company's 3D Zelda killer is a GameCube launch title." The article goes on to say that the Dino Planet team has been working on the conversion since November 2000. That's plenty of time to get it done for the American launch.

We've heard a lot of reasonable speculation on this matter in the past, but until now, it hasn't been confirmed by any sources. I'm really looking forward to this title. The game wouldn't have gotten the attention it deserves if it remained on the N64 (by the masses and by Rare graphic artists). When Rare creates games based on Nintendo's tried and true formulas, the result is always a work of art. Every screen shot and music clip I've found on this game just screams atmosphere. With the power of the GameCube, things can only get better from here.
