See that mountain? You can hold cardboard up to your face to play Zelda on it.
Games have gotten Labo updates in the past, and now two of Nintendo's biggest games will join in.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey will be receiving Labo VR support on April 25, about two weeks after the Labo VR kit launches. Both games will use the Goggles, found in the US$40 Starter Kit.

The original publishers of January's Bury Me, My Love are coming through with three new Switch games, all launching in three weeks.
ARTE, an international cultural collective that operates out of France and Germany, has announced that their titles Type:Rider, Vandal, and Homo Machina will all release on Switch April 25.

Ever wonder what would happen if Nintendo made Galaga?
This week's Arcade Archives game will be delayed a day, but will bring a Nintendo oddity.
Hamster have confirmed that Donkey Kong 3, the last of the game's starring Nintendo's ape mascot for more than a decade, will be releasing this Friday. Standard Archives pricing (US$7.99, €6.99, £6.29, ¥823) will apply.

The Switch version of Civilization VI has gotten a little closer to its PC counterpart.
A new update for the game has added support for cloud saves with the Steam version of Civilization VI. A 2K Games account is required for the function to work, and creating one is an option ingame.

A premiere action title with a psychological bent
One of 2017's most gripping games is coming to Switch next week.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has been tabbed for an April 11 release according to the website of developers Ninja Theory. It was originally released in 2017, and tabbed for a Switch version in February's Nintendo Direct.
The Unreal Engine 4 powered title is being ported to the Switch by British firm QLOC, who previously handled the remastered Dark Souls.

Well, the first quarter is over and we're into a slow period. Anything major this week?
Well, we have Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, which is basically a Dragon Ball-themed children's card game, and the debut title from Perfect World Entertainment in Hob. For me, the biggest release is Mechstermination Force from the developer of Gunman Clive.

They will occur on E3 Day -2.
Nintendo held the US finals for their Smash and Splatoon 2 tournaments today, and the champions will be advancing to pre-E3 weekend.
The 2019 World Championships for Splatoon 2 and Super Smash Bros Ultimate will be held in Los Angeles on June 8. The US champions will face teams from Europe, Australia and Japan in 4v4 Splatoon 2 and 3v3 Squad Strike play for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

There will now be seven Samurai Shodowns in 2019, thanks to a newly-announced compilation.

Presumably they skipped Pyeongchang following the ban on the Russian Federation nailing Eggman.
The Olympics are returning to Nintendo platforms, and it won't just be mascots going for gold.
Sega has announced four different game featured around the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, with two of them coming to Switch. A Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo Olympics will launch this winter, followed by an officially licensed game for the Olympics in summer 2020.

Amazon's Twitch Prime streaming subscription service has offered a lot of downloadable loot for games, and now Switch Online time is included.
Members of Twitch Prime, which includes anyone with a subscription to Amazon Prime, can visit twitch.amazon.com/nintendo to claim a three month Switch Online individual membership code. If the membership is maintained for 60 days, a code for nine additional months will unlock.

The good news: All of the DLC is included. The bad news: ALL of the DLC is included.
Gearbox held a panel at PAX East today and took the opportunity to announce a Switch project that was teased previously.
The 2011 ultra violent shooter Bulletstorm was announced for Switch with a "summer" release. Originally developed by Polish developer People Can Fly along with Epic, the game was originally published on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2011 by Electronic Arts before Gearbox published the remastered versions in 2017.

A new publisher has signed on for Switch, and their first title will be out next week.
Perfect World Entertainment, the North American branch of Chinese MMO publisher Perfect World, have announced console development. Their first Switch game is an action/adventure game called Hob that will release on Switch next week. Hob, previously a PC title, is being ported to Switch by Panic Button.

Overcooked 2 will be bringing a buffet of content in 2019, with the first course coming next month.
"Campfire Cookout", an expansion set around a pastiche of the Scouting movement, will be available on April 18. The expansion will add a new map, four new playable chefs, and new meals to cook in the woods.

Just what we needed, more guns.
Enter the Gungeon turns three years old next week, and it's getting one final expansion to celebrate.
"A Farewell To Arms" will be the game's final free update, which will be available on April 5 (the game's third anniversary). Two new playable characters, a "Rainbow Mode" and a new dungeon will be available, as well as more guns.
