Nintendo will be releasing three versions of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon on Japanese WiiWare.

Nintendo has recently revealed that the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon franchise will arrive on WiiWare in Japan.

The latest Mystery Dungeon game will be released as three different versions: Pokémon: Mysterious Dungeon - Proceed Forward! Flame Adventurers!, Pokémon: Mysterious Dungeon - Let’s Go! Storm Adventurers, and Pokémon: Mysterious Dungeon - Focus! Light Adventurers. The main difference between each version is the different starter Pokémon to choose from and different Pokémon base location.

One new element that is introduced in this Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game is the Pokémon Tower, where you can make your Pokémon ride on top of your other Pokémon to perform techniques simultaneously. The games are also the first in the series to be in 3-D and will have a picture book presentation.

Your save data will be cross-compatible with all three versions, so that you can bring your Pokémon and items from one game to the other while finding new Pokémon that you aren't available in the other versions.

The games also support DS and DSi connectivity, which allows you to control the game with the touch screen. WiiConnect24 functionality is also included and allows players to access new missions or other information if your Wii is connected to the internet.

All three versions of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon will be simultaneous released in Japan on August 4 and priced at 1,200 Wii Points ($12) each.
