According to Nintendo of Europe, Nintendo DS sales have reached one million in Europe. The DS launched on the 11th March 2005 in the region, and it sold 500,000 units in its first three weeks alone.

Owners of the GBA Play-Yan Media Player will soon be able to upgrade the unit's movie playback capabilty.
