High demand has halted the discussion for now.
Boutique game distributor Limited Run Games has been in discussions with Nintendo about beginning to ship Switch titles, but plans have been put on hold due to high demand.
The company currently sells small (1000 - 3000 copy) runs of otherwise digital only titles, including such titles as the Mutant Mudds games. According to Limited Run, discussions were opened to start shipping Switch games, but demand for Switch card production is high enough that they are hoping to begin publishing on Switch by 2018.
Nintendo has halted bringing us on board so that they can focus on publishers doing bigger print runs.

Hopefully we'll be on Switch by 2018.

Just to be clear - this is only temporary until demand from bigger retail partners levels out.
