Cut down trees and get your heart rate up in the next Super Smash Bros.!
In a developer interview on Nintendo's YouTube channel, Sakurai detailed several new features about the game, and spoke about the three new characters announced.
Both the 3DS and Wii U versions of Smash Bros. will feature the same number of characters, however, the 3DS version will have some exclusive stages based on handheld games such as The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and Nintendogs.
While speaking about the artistic changes in the new game Sakurai also stated that the characters in the 3DS version have dark outlines around them to make the characters easier to see on the smaller screen.

Character Details:
Mega Man

- No kicks, only punch is the Mega Upper
- Mega Buster (normal)
- Charge Shot (smash)
- Sliding
- Rush Coil
- Boss powers (Metal Blades, Crash Bombs, Leaf Shield)
- Slash Claw (air)
- Flame Sword (air)
Villager

- Sapling
- Umbrella
- Slingshot
- Fireworks
- Weed Pulling
- Shoveling
- Bowling ball
- Throwing
- Grow Trees
- Able to pick up projectiles and reverse them
Wii Fit Trainer

- Moves are based on warmups from Wii Fit
- "Wii Fit" summons multicolored outlines (final smash)
