Whoa, it's a double Rainbow Road all the way!!

I learned about GCN Daisy Cruiser the other day, but it's still exciting.  This will be the best MK game ever.

Hey where did you find all the tracks for the lightning and special cup? I checked the japanese website and saw no videos or anything on the last 2 remaining cups

I played them :-p

I'm sad that my favorite battle levels from n64 are not in it.

Block Fort and Double Decker are great levels. I don't understand why Nintendo just can't include it, the Wii game does this too and limits the levels. Just include all of them

Double Decker is not fun unless you have 4 players in it since it's so big. If you play with 2 players, it's annoyingly long since you can go a long time without seeing the other player.

But it would be awesome with 8 people like you could do in this version.

Block Fort was on Mario Kart DS.

Hmmm....

When do you think Nintendo will make a level editor? It would be sick if the best four become a Cup of their own, changing each week to become another Cup.

oh wow mario kart has good music again! yay!

I see that happening more with F-Zero than Mario Kart. Mario Kart's gotten too many complicated elements that would make it hard to make an editor (or we'd get severely gimped stages like in Brawl). F-Zero, on the other hand, has already received editors in the past.

A level editor for Battle Mode stages would be easier to implement and more useful. Everyone (myself included) upset about the lack of Block Fort and Double Deck could just make them themselves, since they're fairly simple designs.

Agreed there. The one thing I'm continually disappointed about with Mario Kart is the lack of battle stages.

You should post a video of gameplay from the lightning and special cup since you played them, hopefully they don't mind :D

They'll be coming.
