Nintendo is planning a series of animated shorts to promote the title.

Kid Icarus: Uprising has been further delayed into 2012, Nintendo announced today at their 3DS Press Conference.

While previously the game was expected to release in Japan this year, it has now been pushed into the first quarter of 2012 where it joins other anticipated 3DS titles such as Luigi's Mansion 2, Fire Emblem, and Animal Crossing. Nintendo said that the additional development time will be used to further improve the quality of the game.

Nintendo also announced that they will release a series of animated shorts to promote the game, free for download on the Nintendo Video service.

Dark Icarus seriously.    Let's see Dark Samus, Mario, Icarus, and Link.  the Darks can now play a proper card game.

Metroid, Pikmin, I know there was another.

I hope someone is going to translate that video and sub-title it.  I think this game is going to have personality but, I'm wary about all the cards.

Looks like the next Smash Bros won't be out until 2015 at this rate.
