A short video demonstrating how NBA Live 08 uses gesture control to shoot, block and steal.

This one minute video clip provided by Electronic Arts outlines the use of motion controls to pull off various basketball moves. Jump shots are taken by pulling back and tilting forward again while dunks are performed by swiping to the side. Curiously, layups seem to use the same motion control as dunks. For defensive maneuvers, a simple side swipe will either steal the ball or block a shot, depending on the context. Passing uses the traditional control method of the A Button and D-Pad.

I'm making a gesture at EA. Guess what it is?
