What happens when the only thing we can agree on is that there were a lot of good games last year?
A mini-game collection with a theme is hardly uncommon on the DS, or Wii for that matter. One that taps into nostalgia for the NES days, while still being humorous and most importantly fun, is a bit more rare. Retro Game Challenge fits all of this criteria.

Jonathan Metts: Here's a mini-game collection aimed squarely at older gamers, except that some of the segments are more like full games unto themselves. Gems like Guadia Quest and Haggleman 3 could almost stand alone as great purchases, but the collective package is even better.

Excuse me?
Jared Rosenberg: Nostalgia is a wonderful thing, and Retro Game Challenge has lots of it. While the numerous games you play were never actually released on the NES, they feel genuine and are excellently designed. While the story is ridiculous, it is extremely well-executed making for the kind of wonderfully unique game that lingers in your memory. Filled with games in the adventure, driving, RPG, and shooting genres, there is enough variety to keep the game fresh and interesting for a long while.
