SteamWorld Quest and Duck Game are going to be following each other quite closely in a few weeks.
Image & Form's card RPG SteamWorld Quest officially confirmed its April 25 release date today, following inadvertent reveals from both the North American and European branches of Nintendo. Quest will be a Switch exclusive "for the foreseeable future".

Hörberg Productions's follow up to the smash hit Gunman Clive series will be landing on Switch next week.
The nintendo.com game list has confirmed an April 4 release date for Mechstermination Force, the first brand new title from Hörberg Productions since 2015's Gunman Clive 2. Set in a world conquered by the malevolent MegaMechs, one or two gunners are tasked with taking them down in a boss rush format.

It's been nearly 20 years, but Toon TV is back on the air.
A very early title of the GameCube is coming back in high definition this week on Switch.
Cel Damage HD, a remaster of the 2002 GameCube car combat game, will release on Thursday for US$9.99/C$12.59. The release was first announced via the nintendo.com game list, but the remaster previously appeared on PlayStation Vita and Xbox One.

Next, Zach and TYP will summon a Lost Vikings remaster.
Get RET-2-GO again, as Shantae is making her third Switch appearance this year.
WayForward announced the game in a Twitter post earlier this evening, showing off the game's logo and confirming a 2019 release.
No other details were given in the tweet, though the replies confirm that unlike Shantae: Half-Genie Hero the game is not being crowdfunded.

It’s time to prepare the graphics comparison video with the N-Gage version.
When Crash Team Racing makes it’s way to Switch on July 21 it will include not only a remastered version of the original tracks, but those from its sequel as well. Activision announced today that all 13 tracks from the Crash Nitro Kart will be included as bonus content along with the original battle arenas and modes. Crash Nitro Kart released as a follow up to Crash Team Racing on Playstation 2, Xbox, and Gamecube back in 2003

Yeah, it's not often a Nintendo first party release gets upstaged by a $20 eShop game, but consider that the eShop game is a little thing known as Final Fantasy VII. You know, the game that basically killed Nintendo for a decade, and is finally coming to Switch. Somewhere, Yamauchi is about to start haunting people.

Think the included games aren't fun? You can roll your own.
Nintendo has released new details about the upcoming Labo VR Kit, including the ability to design VR experiences with the kit.
The starter and full kits will include Toy-Con Garage VR, which is the tool Nintendo indicated they used to design the included software. 64 small games will also be available in the VR Plaza, with a large portion of them using just the VR goggles.

The Switch version might've been late, but it's coming with some extras.
One of the last great games of 2018 is coming to Switch in June.
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden will release on June 25, following its launch on other consoles and PC at the end of last year. The Switch version will include the game's first expansion pack, which will be sold separately on other platforms.

Overland: A take on the end of the world, the squad-focused turn based strategy game features a party trying to make the difficult choices as they travel across the United States. Overland launches this fall.

The Nindies Showcase confirmed that Vlambeer will be bringing their games to the platform. The first title, Nuclear Throne, will launch today and Super Crate Box will come to Switch this April with new multiplayer options.

Surprise: Inti Creates made a sequel to the 2017 Switch game and you can play it today.
Blaster Master Zero 2 is available now on Switch for $9.99 after its announcement during today’s Nindies Showcase.
The first Blaster Master Zero was a relatively faithful remake of the first Blaster Master on NES, but this sequel gives it more of a 16-bit-era look, with upgrades to Sophia and Jason, including a counter for Jason. The game also takes you across the universe to multiple planets and outer space locales.

No official release date has been set, but we can expect to see RAD on Switch this Summer. The gorgeously animated, brutally difficult shooter is a Microsoft exclusive no longer.
Today’s Nindies Showcase was kicked off by the announcement that Studio MDHR and Microsoft are bringing the award-winning indie shooter Cuphead to the Switch. Available for pre-purchase later today, Cuphead will be officially released and frustrating Nintendo players worldwide on April 18th.
After playing for a few hours, you may want something a little stronger than milk in your cup.

Runs twice as fast, and a good bargain too
The Switch will be getting the remastered version of one of the most beloved multiplayer games of the last decade.
The Behemoth (Alien Hominid, Battleblock Theater) have confirmed that Castle Crashers Remastered will launch on Switch this summer. Originally released on Xbox 360's Live Arcade in 2008, the four-player brawler was later ported to PC and Xbox One.

As part of celebrations of their 50th anniversary, Konami will be rolling out three compilations of their classic titles into the summer.
The three compilations are themed around Konami arcade titles, Castlevania and Contra. The Arcade collection, releasing first on April 18 for US$19.99, will include Gradius I and II, Life Force/Salamander, Twinbee, Scramble, Thunder Cross, Haunted Castle, and Typhoon/A-Jax.
