The company's European head also implies that a 3DS Monster Hunter will be coming.
Capcom may have a Wii U game to show at the Tokyo Game Show this year, says Capcom Europe COO David Reeves. As part of an interview covering several different platforms, he also indicated it was likely that there would be an installment in the Monster Hunter franchise coming to the 3DS.
No specifics were given about the games, and Mr. Reeves did not confirm the existence of either title, framing his comments as his own speculation.

The classic Chinese game will be re-invigorated with online play and StreetPass features on the 3DS.
Mahjong 3D will feature online play as well as StreetPass features when it releases sometime in the fall.
Developed by DTP Interactive, Mahjong 3D will recreate some imperial battles through several mahjong matches, placing players in the role of the emperor Qin Shi Huanngdi as they defeat several armies across the land.

For the first time, Comic-Con attendees will be able to play Skyward Sword among other games.

Come October, Pokémaniacs will take their Pokémon on the road thanks to the 3DS.
Pokémon Rumble Blast has been given an October 24, 2011 release date.
The title, a sequel of the WiiWare game Pokémon Rumble, marks the first time the Pokémon franchise sees a retail 3DS game. Pokédex 3D was the first application to be released on the handheld via the eShop. In Pokémon Rumble Blast, players control toy Pokémon as they confront other toy Pokémon in various levels in real-time battles.

An interview with the developer provides some insight to the punch that Wii U will pack.
Darksiders II will look as good, if not better, on Wii U than its counterparts on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, according to an interview with Vigil.
The Darksiders II developer states that based on the developer kit that they've received, the Wii U hardware will be plenty powerful enough, but they clarified that nothing is final as of yet.

Bundle up for Shinobi and CRUSH3D this winter.
Shinobi and CRUSH3D will be released for Nintendo 3DS in North America on November 15, 2011 and February 21, 2012, respectively.
Shinobi for 3DS will be the 12th game in the series, and the first since 2003's release of Nightshade on Playstation 2. The game will feature some sort of not-as-of-yet detailed StreetPass functionality. You can check out early impressions of the game here.

Block puzzles and anthropomorphic cats might be hitting the eShop soon.
Catrap, a little-known Game Boy puzzle game made by Asmik, was rated by the Australian ratings board (the OFLC) recently. Since Asmik no longer deals with video games, Nintendo is set to publish the game on the 3DS Virtual Console.

Nintendo sold more than 283,000 copies of Ocarina of Time 3D during its first month in the US.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is doing rather well. The game has sold more than 283,000 copies in the United States during its first two weeks, making it the number two best-selling individual platform game (and number five overall) for the month of June, according to this month's NPDs.

The 3DS will be able to stream Netflix Instant starting this Thursday, July 14.

Nintendo of America says it will come 'later this summer.'
Nintendo Video will not be available in North America until "later this summer." The service, which launched in Europe and Japan this week, allows 3DS users to view streaming 2D and 3D video content.
In a statement, Nintendo noted that while the service will not reach North America in the immediate future the Netflix player for 3DS will be available "soon."

Electronic Arts is buying PopCap Games, the developer of major casual successes such as Plants vs. Zombies and Bejeweled.

Saturnine Games's DSiWare game, Antipole, will be released on July 21.
The game is an action platormer where players use the power of gravity to escape obstacles, destroy enemies, and reach new areas. In addition, players can collect coins that give them access to challenge levels. Other modes include a race against the clock mode and a hard mode.
