Featuring eighteen songs from some of AC/DC's best performances, these master tracks will be available mid-November.

MTV Games announced today that AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack is officially on its way to Wii. The game will feature eighteen master recordings of live AC/DC material and will total more than 99 minutes of music for each instrument.

The track pack will likely be packaged and sold at retail as opposed to being available as downloadable content for Wii. As such, US rockers will be paying $39.88 for the track pack, while UK gamers will pay £29.99, Europeans will pay €39.99, and Australians will pay $49.99. The odd pricing of the US version may lend credence to the rumor that the game is said to be exclusively available at Walmart, but there is still no official word at this time.

AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack will be available in the US November 16, with a pending worldwide release date. Players interested in the full track list can find it in the included press release below.

I love me some AC/DC but I don't think I'd be willing to shell out $40 to play their stuff in Rock Band.

I can only hope that this comes out as regular online DLC on 360.

The math doesn't work in my favor compared to the regular DLC ($2 a song).
18 tracks for $40.
The RHCP album that came out today on Rock Band DLC is 15 songs for $20.
I like AC/DC and all but this is very pricey for 18 songs.

While I love AC/DC how the HELL is anyone going to be able to do the vocals for these songs? ;)  In high school I learned how to play Thunderstruck and practiced my ass off until I could do it perfectly.  The plan was that me and some guys would play it in the school talent show.  Just one HUGE problem - no one could sing it!  We didn't even think of it until a few weeks before the show!  D'oh!  In the end I did a medley of instrumentals which included the Thunderstruck riff.  Though the biggest reaction I got was when I played the first few chords of Nirvana's About a Girl.

Nonetheless it would be fun to try to sing these.  Though with Rock Band being all "we can't do that on the Wii" and Guitar Hero being all "we can do anything on the Wii!" I won't get a chance if this is Rock Band exclusive.

Plus, f*ck it, $40 is almost the price of a whole game.

While a little off topic, if you think AC/DC's tough, try Boston. They have their first album on Rock Band DLC and its a pain in the ass to hit those notes.

Vocals will be a pain. For years I thought he was saying "Thunder Chief" instead of "Done Dirt Cheap".

a sore throat and a cold might help too, but if you dont like having a cold i'd suggest a clothes pin on the nose :)

i was wondering when someone would mention that.

I've always preferred the Christian rock AC/DC cover band, with hits like "Kindly deeds and they're done for free".

I might pick this up.  I'm a huge AC/DC fan, and I've been waiting for Rock Band DLC from them for a while.  My guess is that the high price is due to an exorbitant royalty charge from the music publisher/band.

Please tell me you're just quoting the simpsons and there really isnt a AC/DC cover band named AD/BC.... please!

hahahaha yes I was quoting the Simpsons.  Just wanted to slip it in there on the sly to see if anyone was paying attention.
