The latest build of one of the GameCube's online play clients is getting the once-over.
The latest version of Warp Pipe, codenamed "Megaton," has begun the testing phase. The GameCube tunneling compter program for use on Windows, Mac and Linux systems allows GameCube users to play the handful of LAN-supported games for the system over the internet through computers, provided they have a fat enough pipe to do so.
New features in 0.4 will include the ability to ping multiple users at the same time, so players will always be able to find the smoothest connection possible, and the ability to start a game with a single click. The public version will be released as soon as the test is completed and all the bugs are worked out.
