Nintendo asks the Important Q's

What's this? Nintendo wants to know players' views on important issues?

In the August edition (Volume 147) of Nintendo Power, the Player's Poll Contest asks two very interesting questions suggesting that Nintendo is organizing its GCN plans. Thanks to Canadian "Strange D. Nintendophile," who got his copy freakishly early, we have them for all to see!

Question I. states:

How much would you pay for a Nintendo GameCube demo disk with playable

demos of upcoming GCN games?

1. Whatever it costs 2. Under $10 3. I wouldn't buy it

With a disk-based medium, Nintendo gamers can finally enjoy the treat of demos, and it seems Nintendo is well aware of this. $10 isn't too bad, as long as the disk includes plenty of demos. (Thanks to James O'Meara for confirming that is in US$)

The following question concerns M-rated games:

Should Nintendo Power have a special edition that covers M-rated games

for subscribers who are over 17 years old?

1. Yes 2. No

This further reinforces that M-rated games will not be lacking on the GCN. And, in Nintendo tradition, it hopes to keep M-rated games from being exposed to the younger generations.

Nintendo's getting its plans ready for the GameCube launch in North America! It won't be long now, folks!
