Many of you probably remember the old Nsider community area at Nintendo.com. Though it officially still exists there, the extremely popular BBS (a.k.a. message board) was shut down mid-'99 for some reason. I think the chat room is still somewhat active, but the BBS was the real deal, and it is sorely missed. I still have literally dozens of online friends that I originally met at the Nsider BBS...man, those were the days. Now, after well over a year of waiting, it looks like NOA's online staff has finally worked up a replacement! According to Nintendo Power magazine, the website will get a big revamp early next year, with expanded game strategies, a search engine, and yes, a new bulletin board system. Gosh, I hope I can hold in the nostalgic tears when it finally opens back up...
