Design and create the hottest fashion trends.

Released earlier this month, POP CUTIE! Street Fashion Simulation allows players to create their own fashion trends.

The player starts out in a little boutique inside of a flea market. In order to expand shop, successful fashion trends must be invented. Inspiration is the key to designing trends ranging from conservative stylings to garish cosplay. The player has the ability to walk through the streets of Tokyo observing peoples "images," and conversing with fashion moguls. With the knowledge gained, players are able to create clothes, accessories, and hairstyles.

As the player progresses, they gain the option to hire assistants, models, and place magazine ads. It's also necessary to compete with rival boutiques in "Fashion Battles" to establish superiority in the fashion community.

A simple touch-based control scheme lets the player mix and match colors and clothing styles on the bottom screen while looking at the finished product on the upper screen. Through the Nintendo WiFi Connection players can battle to create the best clothing design.

POP CUTIE! Street Fashion Simulation is rated "E" for Everyone and is available now.

POP CUTIE!™ STREET FASHION SIMULATION FOR THE NINTENDO DS™ HITS THE STREETS

KOEI's fashion-themed retail simulation is available now at retailers throughout North America

Burlingame, CA – October 1, 2008 - KOEI, recognized worldwide as the premier brand of strategy and simulation games, announced today that POP CUTIE!™ Street Fashion Simulation is available now at North American retailers including Amazon.com, Best Buy, Fry's, Game Crazy, Gamefly.com and GameStop.

About POP CUTIE! Street Fashion Simulation

Set in Tokyo, POP CUTIE! Street Fashion Simulation is an offbeat business simulation game that takes a fun look into the world of street style and cosplay (costume play).

In the game, players will manage the day-to-day happenings of a street fashion boutique. They'll hire models and assistants, choose the look and music for their shop, run the cash register and even place magazine ads. Best of all, they'll take to the streets and meet different characters in search of up-and-coming trends. Players can then use this inspiration in their studios where they'll create new clothes, accessories and even hairstyles. However, other shop owners are also prowling the streets looking for the next big thing.

Players will start the game as an independent designer with a small shop at a flea market. As players progress, they'll move into larger boutiques. The competition against rival shop owners culminates in a 'Fashion Battle,' where a panel of judges will decide if a player's style has enough cute or enough cool to become all the rage.

By gathering and combining 'images' from people on the street, players will create clothing lines ranging from the conventional to the most outrageous trends from the streets of Tokyo. An easy touch interface allows players to consider color and shape combinations on the bottom screen while reviewing the actual design on the upper screen. Using Nintendo DS Multi-Card Wireless Play, up to two friends can challenge each other in fabulous Fashion Battles.
