Somewhere between Tim Burton and Dr. Seuss, World of Goo's graphical landscape is both wacky and charming. While the game doesn't push polygons (it's 2D), its crisp sprites are detailed and well-animated, and each locale in the game possesses a unique flavor and overriding theme. Though it’s well-known that World of Goo offers fantastic gameplay, it wouldn't have had the same impact without its phenomenal art direction and characters. Starting with the main menu and ending with the closing credits, World of Goo engrosses players in its stunning world.
