New tables are waiting for DLC support from Nintendo.
Zen Pinball 3D will receive new tables in approximately two to three months, according to a Zen Studios representative posting on the company's forums. The availability of DLC is dependent on Nintendo support through the eShop.
In response to a customer question regarding the upcoming tables, the representative stated, "We'll be adding more tables when Nintendo implements the functionality to do so...should be in 2-3 months, last I heard."

The world's most famous robotic cat will make a 3DS appearance this spring.
The 3DS in Japan will be receiving a new Doraemon game based on the upcoming feature film.
Titled Doraemon: Nobita and the Island of Miracles -- Animal Adventure, the game follows the storyline of the feature film as players partake in the events via mini-games. The game will feature seven mini-games, which will be unlocked for free play once they have been encountered and completed in the game's story mode.

Disney's most ambitious animated film sees representation in the upcoming game.
A world based on Walt Disney's third animated film, Fantasia, will be making an appearance on Kingdom Hearts 3D, the latest issue of Jump confirmed.
Titled Symphony of Sorcery, the world features Mickey Mouse in his iconic Sorcerer's Apprentice outfit on screenshots published by the magazine. Other screenshots seen in the magazine include Mickey Mouse conducting an army of magical brooms and notes flying around the screen.

Wii owners can now grab any once-expired demo on the service.
Every WiiWare demo on the Wii Shop Channel is available again for download.
The service grew quiet in September, with the last available demo being offered for Microforum's 3D Pixel Racing. Unannounced, Nintendo has made every single trial accessible to Wii owners who may have missed out. It is not clear how long they will remain available.

The new peripheral allows 3DS owners to keep their system steady while playing.
Kid Icarus: Uprising is shipping with a special 3DS stand when it releases in Japan this March, according to Project Sora head Masahiro Sakurai.
The stand was revealed on the developer's Twitter as a way to keep the system still while playing Kid Icarus. He further explained that the stand is compatible with all other 3DS games, and suggests that it proves especially useful when playing games heavily reliant on the touch screen.

The homebrew editor allows import and export of QR codes.
A Pushmo level editor for Windows was released by 3DS hacker Eli Sherer earlier this week.
With the Pushmo Level Editor, PC users can create Pushmo levels without using a 3DS. The editor supports import and export of QR codes in several different formats, including images, and the program supports all level features found in the 3DS game.

The hope for a European release is still alive.
Cave Story for DSiWare was sent off by Nicalis, only to be rejected for Europe once again. This news comes from the Twitter feed of Nicalis.
The independent developer says that they sent the build off to Nintendo in December, but they had a minor issue with the digital manual. Nicalis promised to try again this month.

A prototype of the game built on Gamecube hardware was leaked.
A prototype of Metroid Prime 3 built on Gamecube hardware with additional memory was leaked.
The prototype, built in March 2006, features a debug menu and can be played using a Gamecube controller. The debug menu features a slew of options including a weapon select screen and the ability to change Samus' energy tanks and health.

The popular video streaming service has made its way to the Wii in the UK
Wii owners in the UK and Ireland can now stream TV shows and movies on their Wii through Netflix.
Netflix, which has been available on the Wii in America for quite some time, is available for a subscription fee of £5.99. To download Netflix onto your Wii, visit the Wii Shop Channel. Under the Wii Channels menu select "Netflix Instant Streaming for Wii", then download the software for free.
