Now we just need an eShop release of Apollo Justice.
Phoenix Wright has been remanded to the 3DS again with a trial date in September.
Capcom announced today that the sixth Phoenix Wright title, releasing June 9 in Japan, will release in North America/Europe/Australia this September as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice.
As with previous 3DS Ace Attorney releases, the legal adventure will launch at $29.99/€29.99/£24.99 on the eShop.

These will certainly stand out in the crowd
Japan is adding two more colors to the New 3DSXL's palette.
On June 9, the system will have two new colors: Lime Green/Black and Pink/White. The systems will sell for a tax-included price of 20,304yn (approximately $185US). No Western release has been announced for the colors.
The announcement coincided with a Japanese-only Direct video for Culdcept Revolt, which will release on July 7.

Almost, but not quite, giving it away.
The Nintendo 2DS is receiving another price drop in the US.
Nintendo announced today that the non-clamshell 3DS player will drop to $79.99 effective next Friday (May 20) from $99.99, including versions with Mario Kart 7 preinstalled.
2DS originally launched at $129 in 2013, and was lowered to its previous $99 price last August.

The ability to destroy a planet in a single blow proves insignificant next to the power of a massive loss.
The temporary hiatus for Disney Infinity appears to be permanent.
During a financial call today, Disney announced that they were taking a US$147m charge related to "the discontinuation of our self-published console games business, principally Infinity". The last game in the line, Infinity 3.0, released last September and the company announced intentions to focus on new figures earlier this year rather than a Infinity 4.0.

The Pokémon Company released the first trailer for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon today, showing off new Pokémon and gameplay.

June, seriously, chill out already.
One of the promised Nintendo and Minecraft collaborations has been announced, and it's a free update.
An update to the title on May 17 will bring the Super Mario pack to the game, which includes character skins and models from various Mario titles like Super Mario World and Sunshine, plus music from Super Mario 64.

When Splatfests are held for pleasure, they're the ones I love best.
Following the success of the PAL/NA Splatfest last month, the next event will be world-spanning.
The Splatfest to be held on May 13-15 will be the same for all regions, with the competition lasting from 11 pm Eastern time on the 13th to 6 am Eastern on the 15th. The competition question is the question of the best type of party: a fancy dress ball (Callie) or a costume ball (Marie).

On the revenge of the 5th, the big mover is the ponies.
It's a big week down at the racetrack as this Saturday's Kentucky Derby crosses over with children's card games in Pocket Card Jockey. The GameFreak title came out of nowhere in the March Nintendo Direct, and the demo should give you a nice taste of what awaits your horse this week. We should have a review of the game soon.

The spoiler averse can probably pass this year.
Nintendo has clarified their E3 plans for this year's show, and Treehouse Live has a starring role.
In lieu of a Digital Event on Tuesday, June 14 Nintendo will present an all-day Treehouse Live starting at 9 am Pacific time (12 pm Eastern) focused entirely on The Legend of Zelda for Wii U.
Developer interviews and "plenty of fun" are promised as part of the show as well.

There'll be plenty of stuff to buy immediately after E3.
The end of June has suddenly become packed for Wii U owners as Terraria slides into an already crowded release schedule.
The side-scrolling sandbox title, which released on the 3DS last December, will hit the Wii U in both physical and eShop forms on 24 June in Europe and June 28 for North America. Terraria will feature eight player online modes and GamePad level design.

The skepticism flows like wine.
Following multiple delays and rumors of further delays, Mighty No 9 is locked in for a very early summer release.
In a post on the game's official blog, director Keiji Inafune confirmed that the console versions, including the Wii U, would release on June 21 in North America and Asia, with the rest of the world following on 24 June. The 3DS version will follow "at a later date".

Nintendo's financial results included a change to the makeup of the company that could see international branches gain a larger voice in the company.
In a change announced in the financial statements (page 17, PDF link)Nintendo announced that Reggie Fils-Amie and Satoru Shibata would join a new internal board focused on product development.

Callie and Marie amiibo, along with recolors of the Inkling trio, will launch July 8, Nintendo said on Twitter.
The squid sisters will unlock new musical performances and will feature "tasty textures," "delicious detail," and "savory sparkles." It is unknown if the new Inkling trio unlocks anything different than the original.

North America is hitting the races the same day as Europe.
Nintendo's upcoming games list has revealed a couple of titles coming soon to North America.
The first to release is Pocket Card Jockey, which will release on May 5 in North America. The European release for the solitaire-fueled horse racing simulation was previously announced for the same day.

If there is a Japanese game system, it will have musou. No exceptions.
Although SquareEnix teased it, KoeITecmo are the first company to formally announce support for the NX.
The announcement was made in the company's financial statements that released yesterday, and were reported by a market analyst known as ZhugeEx.
KOEI TECMO confirm that they are starting development on Nintendo's new console codenamed "NX".No project announced just yet.
