Just Dance Tops UK Charts

The Wii-exclusive dancing game dethrones Modern Warfare 2 in the United Kingdom.

The latest UK best sellers chart reveals that Ubisoft's Wii title Just Dance is the top selling game, dethroning Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Activision's shooter had sat atop the chart for for nine weeks straight. In previous weeks Just Dance sat as low as number 100, but the game has seen a 114% rise in sales since its debut on the charts.

The second-best seller according to the UK charts is Nintendo's Wii Fit Plus, and in the fifth spot is Wii Sports Resort. No other Nintendo titles appear in the Top 10.

And they must be obviously combining SKU's, but how would Just Dance have been as low as #100? It looks like it's lowest place on the charts is it's debut week at #24

BlacknMild, ChartTrack has 2 separate charts. One is a combined format chart (where they combine all SKU's of a game together), and a individual format chart (where each system version of a game is separate). In addition, they also break it down into "Full Price", "Budget", and "All".

Chart Track is talking about combined formats when saying Just Dance made its debut at #100 7 weeks ago (http://www.chart-track.co.uk/?i=773&s=1111)

I understand that there are combined and individual SKU charts(I even mentioned that) but I just wasn't seeing how it could debut at #24 on the individual charts and drop 76 places when you start combining things. That is just a HUGE drop.
