New Vids of Blue Roses 3D GBA Engine

The very impressive handheld 3D engine from Raylight Studios is coming along nicely. Check it out in these new videos.

Raylight Studios, a Game Boy Advance developer based in Italy, has updated its website with several new videos of its BlueRoses polygonal engine for GBA.

As before, the demos generally emulate popular console titles. One looks like Resident Evil, another like Wave Race, another like Colin McRae and other rally games. Other videos just show off some of the engine's new features, including motion-captured animation and lip-synching technology (using an audio clip from Monsters, Inc.).

The first Tokyo International Computer Graphics Festival (TIGRAF) was held for three days from October 28 to 30. On the 30th, the event featured a game special composed of three segments. One of the segment featured Toshihiro Nagoshi (Super Monkey Ball, Daytona USA and Scud Race) regarding the evolution of driving games and his current involvement with F-Zero GC/AC.
