Coming soon from EA is Hasbro Family Game Night 2, a collection of family games featuring Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. There are five games in all, including Operation, Connect 4x4, Jenga, Pictureka, and Bop It!.

The first trailer shows off the Hasbro Family Game Show mode, which features multiple characters battling it out on the set a game show.

New footage includes four-player mayhem, exotic locales, and tricky obstacles.

Nintendo has released a brand-new gameplay trailer for New Super Mario. Bros Wii. Even more four-player gameplay is shown, along with power-ups including the Ice Flower (which freezes enemies into a big block of ice that can be used as a weapon) and the Penguin Suit (which allows players to slide around the stage).

Square Enix Posts Results of its DQ IX Public Quest DS

The online quest was successful in gathering player data.

Square Enix has shared the stats from their first online co-operative quest in Dragon Quest IX. A month ago, the company asked players to submit their player data via Nintendo Wi-Fi, with 500,000 submissions being the desired goal. Once players reached the total, they would receive a special visit from Dragon Quest Sword's French mage Fleurette.

Players who pre-order Tales of Graces in Japan will receive a special bonus.

Namco Bandai has announced that players who pre-order Tales of Graces will receive a special Tales of Vesperia-inspired bonus: a special download code that will allow them to receive costumes based on the lead Vesperia characters Yuri, Patty, and Rita. A song from Bon Jovi's latest album will be used to advertise Square Enix's next big Wii title in Japan.

Square Enix has announced that they will be using Bon Jovi's latest single, "We Weren't Born to Follow", in their Japanese television commercials for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. In the past, Square Enix has typically used songs from Asian artists to advertise their releases.

Wii Remote to come packaged with Wii MotionPlus. UPDATED with pictures of the final packaging.

Nintendo has finally announced a North American release date for their black Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. The new color will be available on November 16, one day after the release of New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

The black Wii Remote will be bundled with a black Wii MotionPlus accessory for $49.99, a $10 savings compared to buying them separately. The black Nunchuk will be sold individually for $19.99.

Mario and Sonic Event at the Nintendo World Store This Saturday Wii

European Developer Oxygen Games Declares Bankruptcy

The developer of expanded audience games is seeing tough financial times.

UK-based developer Oxygen Games, known for creating budget games aimed at the casual audience, has announced that they have gone into administration (analogous to Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S.). This allows them to continue operating as a going concern while dealing with their creditors. The company has been assigned FA Simms & Partners Ltd. as overseers of the administration case.

Warner Bros. Interactive and MTV Games have announced the full track list for LEGO Rock Band, for both the console and handheld versions of the title. LucasArts has released a new trailer for its upcoming N-Space-developed Nintendo DS title, Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron.

Shigeru Miyamoto to Offer Keynote at Digital Content Expo

The famed designer speaks about his efforts over the last 30 years of game development.

This year's Digital Content Expo, held in Tokyo, Japan, will feature a keynote by Nintendo's most famous developer, Shigeru Miyamoto. The keynote will commemorate the opening of Asiagraph, and will be about the developer's experiences at Nintendo and game design.
